It was beautiful watching our approach to Nassau from our veranda while having our breakfast. And, it was so nice to feel better! The weather was beautiful. Got off the ship briefly at Nassau which was everything I thought it would be...not much! We ate lunch at the buffet which was once again excellent, the Mickey pool was closed and drained due to an accident(memories of SAB labor day weekend:rolleyes: )We saw Freaky Friday which was really funny, I think we went to the pool after that and then bingo again which my daughter loved. Dinner was at animators palate which was great, and feeling better we really got to enjoy and appreciate our waitstaff. We had a couple pickey eaters in our party and to say they bent over backwards for them would be a great understatement. We went to see Golden Mickeys which was great. After that dh and I explored the ship as we were departing. Tonight it would be perfectly smooth sailing. We all sat on the verandas and watched a tugboat come get a couple men off the ship from a rope ladder after we were on our way. My 9 year old slept in our room with us, and my 19 year old wound up with a whole room to himself. Of course, his idea of cruising is sitting on the veranda, talking to his girlfriend on his cellphone! Tomorrow, Castaway Cay, a true island paradise!

Das and Hristina were wonderful servers. If you can, I would request them. Das is very kind and attentive and Hristina was very good with Kids.

This was our first cruise and really enjoyed it. Kudos to Disney for their efforts to keep their guests happy. We stayed in room # 5407, an interior state room. We were going to upgrade, but the inside cabin was just fine for my wife, me and our 3 year old daughter. The only negative thing was first night's 13 ft swells.
This did make for some discomfort. Thank God for the motion sickness patch.

Castaway Key was beutiful and alot of fun, probably the hightlight of our trip, right below the expression of my 3 year old's face as she gave the princesses characters hugs.

Another great thing is the smoothness in which Disney does its disembarkation. Customs and the major airlines are right there at the dock, making for a quick get a way.

Thank you Disney Cruise Lines for a great vacation.

ez--i am just curious........this is the first trip report that i have seen where the golden mickey's was performed on the second night. Is that right? i was making my plans and was thinking that it would be either the first or the third night.........guess i will just have to wait til i get there to see when it will be.

Yes, it was....Hercules, Golden Mickeys, Disney Dreams.
