Sorry for never replying, never made it back to the internet cafe on board....as now is well known, we did dock in Charleston - I heard mixed reports onboard of how people felt about the place. Personally, we only got off the ship for about 90 minutes and roamed around right close to port. It seemed to me that the "time share sellers" were out in droves, but maybe it was just me.
Nassau got sort of screwed up because of the 2:30pm all aboard and 3pm departure - we had purchased the Dolphin Encounter, and it was literally a rush to get done and back on the ferry. The ferry left at 1:30 - we didn't get to Blue Lagoon until just before 11 - so we lost all of our beach time, and didn't really even have time to eat.
Overall a fantastic trip though - this was our first cruise, and DCL certainly has us spoiled.
