...feel like it was just yesterday? The History Channel has been showing 9/11 programs all evening. It's all still so sad. I think I've already gone through half a box of tissues.
I agree, can't believe it has been five years already, still very painful. But I feel compelled to watch like it is in some way honoring those who lost their lives that day. So I grab the tissues and watch.

What you said! We watched both "The Man Who Predicted 9/11" and "Grounded on 9/11" last night. I had seen them both before but it was the first time for the husband. He has only just lately been able to watch programs about that day.
As always, the History Channel does these types of shows with respect and honesty.
It's so hard to believe it's been 5 years already. I still can't watch those shows. Part of me wants to, but I just can't. It's going to be a tough weekend, and I really just want to sleep through Monday
We won't forget anytime soon, not anytime in our lifetimes. I just think about those people who lost their lives. What were their last thoughts? What was going through their minds as this all happened? Did they know what was happening? And I think about the impact it has had on the families they left behind.
