We did the reverse cruise last may (2011) and loved it so much that we decided to book the opposite direction!

We have two boys -7 & 9 years old and they are super excited about the oceaneer's lab, the shows and, of course, the food!

We are from calgary, alberta and are looking forward to visiting san francisco again and enjoying the amazing service on the wonder!

Hello and welcome to the group I am looking forward to meeting everyone on the ship. When you did this cruise last year my DW is wondering how much do you feel the open seas while going down the coast. We have only ever done one cruise and it was in the Caribbean and we never had a full sea day.

Also How far off of the coast are we? Can you see land or is it water everywhere?

I was also on the northbound last year, until you get to SF, you dont see land much, if at all. The Pacific can be smooth as glass or very rough, but you don't feel a whole lot, the stablizers really help. I was on the 1st LA to FL through the Panama Canal in 2005 and we were in a west coast hurricaine, it was no worse than some of the storms in the Carribean. I am hoping for great weather.

we have done a carnival coastal cruise and you can see land but that's it! We have experienced some real choppy water and smooth sailing - it's best to carry some pills or sea bands if you suffer. If it gets really bad - go see the doctor and get the shot!

Retrieved our travel docs from TA and reviewed our Palo reservations. I had originally booked at whatever time I could get and ended up on Friday. Well, we don't leave port until late and I don't really want palo dining while sitting in port. So, thinking of trying to move to another day once we are on board. Can't do anything now.

Hey The time has come we are going to surprise the girls and let them have a few weeks to get excited about the trip. The wonder is in Victoria on Sunday evening and we are going to go down there as a family. I have a fun plan with a huge poster and a reveal of our plans organized for them. Hopefully it will go well and my youngest does not cry to much in public. But I will post pictures or video when it is all done if anyone wants to see it.
