I've heard the bcn hoho bus is great but not as good with Malta because they run less freQuently

5 more days at work
leave on the 7,arrive at 12:00 at barcelona.
go to hotel:eurostars gran marina hotel.
go tour de aquarium,maybe the chocolate museum.
dinner at las ramblas.on the 8 ,we,dh and dd,are going to be in the magic for the first time.

just can´t wait.i wich you all cruisers,a safe jorney to barcelona.looking forwad to meet you all.

We are staying at the Eurostats Gran Marina als on the 7th. Stayed there in 2007 it it was nice. Maybe we will see you there.

1 week from now I will be sitting on the plane waiting to begin my journey!

Today is my last minute shopping/returns to the mall since that is a journey for me without a car. Need to go to tha mall outside the city for Sears, Target and Dress Barn Woman (Very few stores in the city carry my size). So hoping in the shower and heading out soon.

Tapas Tapas is on Tuesday night - right? Do we have a goal to get to 2000 before we all leave?

Not packing but working and keeping my eye on the posts to keep my sanity. How is everyone who is staying in Barcelona going to sightsee? We're thinking about the hop on hop off bus. Apparently there is a new company so there is choice of bus companies-? Anyone else doing the HOHO or have comments good or bad about either company?

How about the HOHO in Malta?

I did the HOHO in 2007 in Barcelona. It was great to learn the city. I am considering the metro this time (T-10 card), but will see when i get there. Depends on how busy the city is. Plus if I recall correctly I got a 2 day pass for Friday and Saturday last year and Friday was not bad but Saturday was a zoo for the bus (especially around Sagradia Familia - I can't imagine how long it would have taken to get on a bus the line was so long).

WOW! Busy day. Missed the 1,000th post, planned a couple of excursions, DW layed out some of DD clothes, made sure suit fit for formal night and dropped off at cleaners, more planning for Birthday party on the 4th, and finished a Term paper. I am so ready for this cruise.

Congrats on making the 1000 post missed it whilst away @ our Caravan. Well an update on the fe gifts I am making lol what a disaster (without giving too much away regauding what I am making )do you know super glue doesnt stick to plastic lol, so only got them half done But Evie-mae enjoyed doing what we could. I managed to pick up something like a FE For Evie-Mae but it looks quiet big but it will have to do, dont seem to be able to get them in the UK. Going Clothes shopping tommorow for mwah seen as though Evie-Mae and Steve have both got all there new gear sorted Also going to buy a new Lawn Mower ours blew up whilst using it @ the caravan last week.

WOW! Our thread exploded all over the place over the weekend! I spent yesterday hanging out with a friend who just got back from overseas (she didn't know you William) and really needed some friends to talk to, her family is being crummy. Today the whole family is getting haircuts and we're finishing up the FE. I got some of those Purex 3 in 1 sheets that have detergent and fabric softener in 1 sheet so I'm bringing them to do laundry, I have a ton so if someone else needs some come see me, I can be bribed .

So much to do, in 4 days I take the rest of the family to the airport to start the trip, 5 days it'll be me!

We are arriving 9/7 and staying at the Hilton Diagonal Mar. Nobody asked...I just thought I'd mention it. I hear the hotel is near a mall. I hope the mall has a store that sells water and wine and CHAMPAGNE!!! Last time we left from Barcelona they let us get off the boat after lunch and miss the drill. Doesn't sound like they let you do that anymore.

Since we are going to try very hard to upgrade at the port out cabin number may change - if so, I will give out my FE the first night with a note as to where our new cabin number is.
