We are celebrating my daughter's 8th Birthday at MK. I have already booked our PS for breakfast at CRT on the morning of her birthday. I would also like to do something for dinner so we can have a little cupcake or something with a birthday candle for her to blow out and sing to her. Any thoughts?

I originally thought she might be worn out with a full day at MK. I would like to stay at the park for the whole day if possible.

I have a Chef Mickey PS for another day during the week, so that is out for her actual birthday. I'm getting down to the wire on what to do.

Thanks!

We liked LTT for dinner. We celebrated on son's birthday there and had a good time.

The table was covered with Mickey confetti and curled streamers. After dinner our server rang a large hand bell and proclaimed Ryan's birthday. They sang Happy Birthday, gave a round of applause and presented Ryan a large cupcake. It was large enough to share with his brother.

How about the Hoop De Doo? That's a fun place to celebrate a birthday, and you can take the boat from the MK over to FW. A little pricey, but LOTS OF FUN!!! My boys were 3 and 7 when we went and they loved it. And we celebrated MY birthday there...they announced me and and my age (woohoo:rolleyes: )

I'm trying to decide about my DD 9th birthday next Feb. We are between Chef Mickey's for Breakfast, HDDR or the Rose and Crown for dinner and Illuminations (her idea). At 8 she decided she was over the "princess thing" so that's out. We are going to try for CRT for another day for the rest of us but I'm sure she will put up with it for the meal!;)

The Teppenyaki place in Epcot is awesome! The food is great and the chef's are wonderful. It is where they cook in front of you like Benihana (???). The best is they do it Disney stlye. It is also very fun for a birthday. They have really cute cakes that they bring out and the whole restaurant, chef's included sing. Just another idea!

Thanks for all the wonderful ideas :D Now I just have to narrow it down - I don't think she is too thrilled with the princess thing either, but I had already made the PS for CRT for breakfast. Why do they out grow these things so young? :( You wouldn't believe the Disney Princess outfits we have hanging in her closet from her 'not so long ago' Halloween costumes.

Again, thanks for all the suggestions. I can't believe that two weeks from today we will be there. Actually, two weeks from tonight we will be sitting at the Sci-Fi Diner having dinner :bounce:

Meant to mention that the Teppenyaki sounds like a fun way to spend a birthday dinner too. If we can't make it on her actual birthday we might try eating there another evening during our stay. Thanks for the idea!!
