8AM ADR with 8AM opening?

What happens? If the regular park opening is 8AM- not EMH- are we still let in early for an 8AM ADR at Crystal Palace? This ADR was originally pre rope drop but now opening time has been moved to one hour earlier.
What should we expect? Thanks.

You can get there a little early and ask a CM at the turnstiles - I think they are usually at the far right - used to be with a clipboard - now probably an ipad. They will help you get in and get to your ADR. Be sure to bring your ressie # Just in case.

As of a few weeks ago (8 am ADR and 9 am rope drop), the line, which was quite long btw, formed to the left and entry didn't start until 7:50 am. We were freeeeezing. It seems like they used to let us in earlier than that. Anyways, I'd imagine they'd let you in even earlier with a 8 am rope drop to avoid the mad dash.

Correct, the old way of verifying pre-rope drop ADRs was with a clipboard, now it's an iPad.

Thanks for your replies. It is our last full day and our 3rd in MK so I'm not concerned with the touring aspects but was hoping to snag a little bit of that pre RD magic!
Now with the hours extending I'm not sure if it's still worth getting there so early. We've eaten at CP several times so we wouldn't be missing out on the character experience if we decided to cancel.
