I keep forgetting, but I actually DO have something with which to update! It's funny - now that my TR's done, I seem better able to focus on the Aug. trip. It's almost like I've been keeping Fockerfest at arm's length until I got my memories of Dec. sorted out. Now, my brain's free to obsess about the next trip!

Sadly, there's not a whole lot about which to obsess, though. Ressies are made, days more or less planned... what else can I do?

First, I needed some new swimsuits. 3 of what I had were really on their last legs; I used them last summer for 20 minute after-school swims with Leo, but I'd never have strayed beyond my own pool in them. Well, they need to go this year. And the 2 suits I bougt last summer? Blehhh. It seems my Spanx Diet does NOT extend to swimsuits, TFI. As you'll recall, the suit I wanted from Lands End is on backorder until July. No good. We'll be swimming down here within the next month or so. (The air's warm enough now, but the pool water's not. I won't go in until it hits 84. ) I needed to grab something at Target anyway, so I gave it a shot...

Success! I have to say - Target's suits seem a little thicker and better-made this season, so maybe, just maybe, they'll last beyond this summer. If not, they were inexpensive and I won't be devastated. Here's what you'll find me in come Aug.:

I almost wound up with a cover-up, too... and then remembered the 5 sitting in my swim drawer at home.




Moving on, I really needed new shorts and Ts, too. For those, I went to my old standy-by, Lands End. Nothing exciting: bermuda shorts in navy, black and khaki; Ts in red, white, green and yellow. Oh, and this:

My old, cheap hanging toiletry kit bit the dust on my last trip, so I splurged on got the mac-daddy, inspired by LL.

I know! But nothing beats my Crocs Capris, (in Khaki so as to lengthen my legs ) and my Vera Bradley hipster and backpack. I do believe the eternal search for WDW shoes and bags is at long last complete.

Nope, not nearly enough pins! LOL! I warn you, pin trading is a evil vortex that sucks you in. Oh, it starts innocently enough... and then a few years later you look back and wonder where you got all of these 100's of pins!!!

The kids' have their own pins on display in their rooms. Plus, everyone has their own personalized pin bag. I posted those on one of my trip reports.

Sadly I have Disney Dining, CRO & Magical Express in my cell phone...just so I never have to look for the #'s.

I got a new carry on bag for this trip, and its apparently sitting at the post office waiting for me to pick it up (which I will do today), it's a canvas bag with a MMC logo on it. Any excuse for a new bag. I also need some new crocs capris.

Have you seen the new "pulse" color? On line it looks like a pretty coral-ish color. I just came from Dicks, and pulse is more orange-ish.
