Remember anyone who is going to FockerFest 2008, I am putting together everyone's schedule in a private file. I will only share these schedules with those that have given me their schedules. So, if you want to share, please PM me! So far I have ...

CE, Janet, Jo, Lessa, Michelle, Mo, & Tracy.

Oh CE, I'm not looking for thanks. I just want to remind people to give me their schedules if they want to. I know V doesn't want to, but who else is going? Heidi said she'd give me her schedule once she made one (ha). Kat???

I got the PM DM----Looks great and I see I have some great stalking opportunities:cool2:

YES JO I HAVE BEEN PRACTICING:rolleyes1 :lmao:

OK, I have a great way to earn vacay $$$. Sell your old gold jewelry, you know those items from ex boyfriends/ hubands, etc. that you don't wear, or that pair of earrings where you lost one. I sold just a handful of old sutff and got over $200.:thumbsup2 Murph sold a bunch of old charms she hadn't worn in over 20 years from a couple of charm bracelets she had and got $1700:woohoo:
Hiya Mo  That's great about the gold, was it S'Late who said something about that a few weeks ago?

:joker: Happy April Fools' Day!!! :joker:
And to you Michelle :goodvibes I don't think you read TFW chat anymore so I'll link here to the April fools joke that the BBC did today, it was also all over the papers, they didn't show the last bit in the trees though. So many people believed it so funny :rotfl2: Click here!

Love it! :rotfl2: Here's what I got:

Well, you're distressingly normal and could conceivably adjust to life as a deep space pioneer, though we recommend instead that you leave the Mars missions to the serious whack jobs who scored over 130 and instead finish year 3 of law school, tuck your toddler into bed, design Web 2.0 applications, run for Congress or do whatever other normal, healthy, middle-of-the-road thing you're currently doing with your normal, healthy, middle-of-the-road life. If you're determined to give Virgle a try, though, you can submit your video here.

Well, V, you and I are both utterly normal. Bummer.

So, in my quest soothe the mouse on my back, I was reading some WDW trivia. I found this very interesting. Did you all know Richard Nixon made his "I am not a crook" statement while staying at the Contemporary?

Okay, let's just get this over with quickly, like ripping off a medical adhesive: you did not do well on this test. You are not, by all available evidence, well suited to be a Virgle Pioneer, or any sort space explorer, really, or for that matter, any profession which requires leaving behind your creature comforts, your nice warm bed, your lovely wardrobe, your gourmet meals, your high-end home theater, your friends and family -- oh man, what have we gotten ourselves into here? We're kind of freaking out ourselves, actually. Help! We changed our minds! We don't want to go! [Clicks heels.] There's no place like home! There's no place like home! There's no place like -- [ Long silence. ] Hello. Still there? We're sorry about that unpleasantness with our previous reviewer. We can assure you, you tested just fine and would make a fine Pioneer; all you have to do is submit your video here.

I'm so proud

I guess I'm with you, Janet! :lmao:

It told me I was perfect for the mission. :confused3
Now I feel like the odd-man-out. I want to be a space skool flunkout too. :guilty:

I got the same answer. ;)

Yup, I'm normal too... whatever that is. LOL! Of course, my DH was perfect for the Mars mission!!! :lmao: He's into Linux, so as soon as he saw the part about it being an open source planet - he was all for it! :thumbsup2

I guess we'll have to see how a long-distance romance will work... veeeerrrry long distance! :rotfl:

I was just impressed with how much effort went into setting up the Google April Fools' joke...

Hope everyone is having a good week! :goodvibes

P.S. HEY JANET! Check your August airfare! My AirTran flights went down to $69 each way today and I got a credit for the difference in my A+ account.

So after my trip to Costco today, I decided that store's name needs to be changed to "only enter if you are prepared to spend $150". I swear I go in with the intent it get a couple of things and next thing I know I have a cart full of carp. I did get a bathing suit, a Jantzen skirtini with a halter top. Oh and a new jacket, yeah I know BUT, it was washable suede on sale for...... 9.97, that's right baby!
