Not that I'm going to be doing the DDP anytime soon... but it's about time that they did this. I never understood why they made people buy at least a one day ticket to get the DDP even if they already had APs!

Ok, so I get to make my ADR's on Friday - and I'm nervous and I dread getting up at the butt crack of stupid.
Oh and I made my ME ressie's yesterday and I made sure my room request was noted on my ressie.
Still no best days from TGM - I'm about to break up with him. As it is, I've been unfaithful.

Oh, I'm feeling the pressure. You all have plans A, B and C and I can't even get the people at grand gathering to acknowledge that they offer special stuff I had plan A, but that was dumped. Now I'm struggling with B. Truth is, I only know of one meal that is set in stone, and it involves wurst.

It doesn't help me but it may help some others. I don't buy tickets at all since my parents are CM's they just get us in the parks As the saying goes, if it is Free..it's for ME

Have been reading over on the dining boards that no one has really been having a hard time getting ADR's at the times/days they want. One of the theories going around is that the DDP isn't worth it for a lot of people and alot of people are just doing CS meals during their trips

I made my ME ressie yesterday too. I am definitely NOT going to remew TGM for next year. I think I will stick with the Unofficial Guide

8/21 Epcot - Lunch @ Akershaus - Boys night out.
8/22 TL - Dinner @ Spoodles
8/23 MK - rest - Fockerfest and Wieners galore!
8/24 AK - Donalds Safari Breakfast
8/25 Epcot - rest - Dinner @ Narcoossee's - MK for Spectro
8/26 Sleep In - Hopefully P&PP - BBB & Dinner @ THe Plaza
8/27 Sleep In - DHS Dinner @ Mama Melrose
8/28 Epcot - Lunch @ LeCellier
8/29 Breakfast @ 1900 PF

The plan will stay the same even if there's no P&PP.

I think I was one of the very first testers for the DDP back in 1994. It was called something else though, I think "Food and Fun". It was the best!

3 free meals a day - anywhere we wanted to go.
apps, entree, drink, and desert at every meal -- no alcohol. Which was okay since I was only 18.

and we got a free recreation everyday - mini golf, speed boats, etc...

Oh, I miss those days. That was one of my very favorite trips.

So I just got off the phone with Ramsey rolleyes1 ) who told me the dates for the various grand gathering things we're considering. Phew. It's about time I got that information. THEN he adds that I can't book anything until 180 days from the actual date of the event! WTH??? So, according to him, I am going to have to call every day next week to get the GG experiences we want and the ADRs.

I'm at a loss.
