I had to share this story - I think it's so great.

I was listening in on a conversation next to me at the American Adventure at Epcot the other day - I heard a woman say she was born in 1922 - and then she went on to say she had just ridden Mission Space!

I thought that was great. :D She looked in great shape, too. I'm 48 and I still haven't worked up the nerve to do MS.

I hope I'm still riding rides at WDW when I'm 82. :D

That's cute. I couldn't get my 80 year old father on it for nothing. He said he was afraid he'd have a heart attack. So I didn't ride it either in February, but I'm going to in about 3 weeks!::yes::

I love MS. I think my 76 year old mother would love it too and if she can recover from stomach cancer, I plan to take her to WDW and see what she thinks :)

I hope your mom recovers from her stomach cancer and that you and she have a blast! :D

I hope I'm like that when I'm 82! Here I am 28 (tomorrow!) and I don't know If I'll have the guts to ride MS when we go next year!! I'm afraid I'll get sick as I get motion sickness easily...

There's no way my Mom (who was born in 1926) would ride MS! She has never even tried a rollercoaster! LOL Much respect to that woman! :) I'm scared myself, to ride the thing! DH says he's going to drag me on it! LOL

We went to Disney in November of last year. My 83 year old father in law rode MS and wanted to go back and ride it again. We didn't, however. Because my husband (his son) got sick. That's the 2nd time my husband has riden MS and the 2nd time that he has been physically sick from it. I told my husband that he couldn't ride again. :)

That is what I am afraid will happen to me. I get really bad motion sickness and I am very afraid I will throw up on the ride. It seems so neat and I would really love to try it. But I am worried that I will be sick.

If you have any reservations, it is better to not ride it. My husband said that he did not feel well for the rest of the day -- and we rode MS in the morning.

It's just a ride, don't waste a day of your vacation being sick, just skip it.

Good for her! Can't wait to ride it myself.....just have to talk DH into another trip next year....

What an awesome woman. I chickened out our last trip now I'm determined to try in her honor. YOU GO GIRL!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :worship:
