I graduated in 83 so I was really a leftover 70's and never got into the 80's. I was in college then. I STILL hate the "hair bands", well some songs I like but for the most part, no.

kinda same here I graduated in 93 so i was leftover from the 80's and was married with two kids and divorced by the time I was 19 so i didn't have time nor the money to get into the 90's

I graduated a year before you, but still got very into the 80's, both in college, and well, lots of what I consider 80's styles really started in the late 70's.

I am so with you on the hair bands, though. Hated them then and always will. I was into "alternative" music.
