Wow! Reading all these titles has brought back some memories--that's for sure!! I saw a lot of songs I thought of mentioned in the previous lists, except for "What I Like About You" by the Romantics.

Mine too! Just put it on a new CD this morning, along with "The Honeythief" by Hipsway, which I looooooooooove.




Oh, and rather unrelated, but last night I made the unfortunate discovery that "won" songs on iTunes (e.g. from the contest Pepsi had goin' a couple of months ago) actually expire. I had 8 freaking song credits remaining, and they all vanished after I tried to redeem one. I am SO not happy with iTunes right now!!!!!!!

In my opinion...you can't have an 80's party w/o two songs that MEAN the 80's. Those songs are: "Obsession" by Animotion and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears for Fears.

BTW..I have the 12" dance versions of those songs on VINYL!

Between your list and others' suggestions, I can't think of anything else to add. However, I did notice that you had "I Touch Myself" by The Divinyls in your list. I think that was from the 90's, not the 80's.
