We had the 8:30 dinner and a few of us were talking and we thought that the people with the 6:30 dinner looked and acted rushed and harried. They were trying to get their formal photos in before dinner, and whose crying and which mom is yelling....
I was happy with our 8:30 dinner because we got to do whatever we wanted to do during the day without running back to our rooms to get ready for the early dinner. Of course, if I had very young children, we might have done the earlier dinner...
But we would do what we wanted during the day, see the 6:30 show if we wanted to (my kids saw all the shows, me and DH only saw 2) then the kids would go up to the room and shower and get dressed for dinner.
(with the cornrow hair braiding, it was a snap!)
Then after dinner the kids would go to the clubs or to a movie while me and DH relaxed and did whatever. I would go to the Rainforest Spa around 5:30-6:00 (It was always empty!) to relax and get dressed and ready for dinner and stroll around until then. I never hurried on this cruise, it was wonderful. Oh, I also totally enjoyed the evening Bingo. I would go to the Rainforest Spa AND Then Bingo and then dinner.
BUT, like I said, I did not have very young children. This was the first time that my kids were not all over me. I didn't know what to do with myself!
