This might sound like a no-brainer, but my son likes Frozen (and so does his 3 yr old little sister). However - he loves cars and I thought this might be a fun show for him. We have never seen it. Interesting for an 8 yr old boy, or boring.

My son loves LMA.

If your son has never seen it, I would think it would be any thing but boring to him.

Frozen--I found that to be an enjoyable show. The host and hostess are quite funny.
I did not think it to be boring.

I would consider squeezing in both if you can.

Is the "or" because you don't have time for both or are you trying to select a FP for one? If this is just a matter of FPs, book the singalong. LMA has a HUGE seating area, and no FP is needed.

LMA would be great for an 8 y/o boy! I'd see it while you can...with all the rumors of what will happen to DHS flying around, LMA might not be around much longer..

oh yes...if you're talking about FP+, there's no need to FP LMA at all. You can easily walk in for shows.

Sorry - it's a time issue, not a FP issue. What I ended up doing is planning for LMA during our main chunk of time at HS, but we still have a FP for Frozen. It's just past the amount of time that I think my kids will be able to handle that day. If they decide differently - great! We can use the Frozen FP.

when we took my son last year at 3 years old... the LMA was like the one thing he really cared about! HAHA he sat there in awe the whole time- and if the cars went behind the scenes for a minute... "mommy! where'd the cars go???" when it was over " i want to see it again!!" LOL so i would say thats kind of a "must do". it really is a neat show!

I love LMA so I'd definitely recommend that. The frozen show is pretty dumb, but it's something you should do one time then that's it. So I would do LMA, then if your kids aren't ready to leave, use the FP for frozen

Darn. I didn't realize that this was still going on. DS9 just recently got really into Frozen. We are going to do LMA, because I think it will be shut down soon. Luckily, I was still able to get an FP+ for Frozen, because I think it will have a longer wait than LMA. I tried getting both, but they overlap by 5 minutes:mad:

If it's the first time seeing either, then LMA.

LMA is a pretty big deal, even though you don't read about it all that often. The grand stands are huge. Surprisingly huge. It's a great show overall, especially the first time.

I really don't see LMA closing down anytime soon. It's one of the best shows at Disney, if not the best. Doesn't take up THAT much room. And every show fills up with 5,000 or so people. That's 5,000 less people walking around and in ride lines for that half an hour. They have plenty of other room in the park to add on plenty, so I don't see them closing down lma anything soon.

I'd be pretty sad if they did.

If you look at the map on MDX, LMA takes up more space than any other attraction, including Fantasmic. The map may not have proper scale though. Plus, they only run 2 shows a day, and I bet it's expensive to operate. It's also at the edge of the park, which could allow even more expansion. I enjoyed the show. I want to see it again, because I would miss it if it did go. However, there have been rumors circulating about it for a while, especially since it is near Backlot Tour, which closed, and between Pixar Place and Star Tours, both of which might be expanding.
