Travel Day is HERE!

We leave this evening ~ but I am working pretty much a full day on a client site ~ so most likely won't be around at all today.

Everyone here is still sleeping (as they should be) but I woke up at 4:45 and remembered a project I was supposed to do for a client and then couldn't get back to sleep. GRRRR. So I got up and did it. Of course now I still have two hours before I have to leave for work!

Have fun! It was getting very crowded Friday, so I'm thinking this week might be pretty crowded, but don;t let it get you down. Just go with the flow. (which is hard for me. LOL)

Hello all! I have a pretrip report that you can find the link to in my siggy. This will give you a idea of who we are and what our plans are!


Our flight was delayed last night and we didn't get to the hotel until about 1:00AM and it was 1:30 by the time I got everyone to sleep! Yikes! Airtran lost our stroller and we are currently still trying to retrieve it... ugh.

Anywho! We got up this morning at about 7:00 and got ready and out to the bus stop at just past 8:00 right on schedule! So we waited maybe five minutes for our bus to the magic kingdom. Once there we hopped a resort monorail (which we just caught) and headed to the Poly for our 9:00 breakfast ressie at Ohana's. We checked in at about 8:55 and we were sat at about 9:05 EXCELLENT! The food is yummy and both Mimi and ZZ ate a fabulous breakfast of fruit, pineapple bread and mickey waffles. Mimi even did the parade and she loved seeing the characters! We saw: Lilo, Sticth, Pluto, and Mickey. Z of course still wanted nothing to do with the characters

So then we headed over to MK to get some rides in. I needed to get a copy of my AP since I couldn't find it and that took a few minutes. With all that we were heading to Adventureland at about 10:30 ~ Mimi wanted to see the pirates. So we grabbed a FP for Jungle cruise on the way by with an 11:30 return time. The POC line said 20 minutes but we were off the ride by 11:00 ~ I doubt we even waited 10 minutes. Since we still had a little while before we could check out the Jungle Cruise we decided to catch Tiki Birds. Both the girls loved it! Again... about a 10 minute wait. By this time it was just a minute or two before our FP were good so we decided to head over. We rode the Jungle Cruise and then thought we would have time for HM before lunch.

When we got to HM the wait time was 30 minutes and it looked WAY longer than that so we skipped it and decided to see Mickey's Philharmagic! The wait time said 20 minutes but we only waited about 5 minutes before the show started. Once out of there we were heading to Crystal Palace for lunch. I THOUGHT we would ride TTA on the way by but it was closed down and the line waiting for it to open was HUGE!

Zoe fell asleep in the "borrowed" stroller so we decided to go to Crystal Palace and check in and find a shady spot for her to nap. We checked in at 12:50 for a 1:05 lunch and were seated right at 1:05 ~ Z was still asleep and they let us bring the stroller in We ate good food and saw some characters. Mimi even got to lead the Parade with Piglet! It was great!!

We swam for a little bit and Mimi and mom are now napping while DH are out trying to find our stroller.

oh wow, I see my 4 year old which will be turning 5 while there running for the hills at the sight of that sweet large mouse. though she did ok this weekend with the easter bunny which is such an improvement from santa, which she soo did not want to sit in his lab and our 7mo which was 5mo at the time just looked at santa like wow who are you. I am hoping like you after several character dinnings she will warm right up to them. Hope you had a great trip.

Wow, what a first night! Glad you finally made it though. Did you check your stroller in as luggage or gate check it? We always gate check ours, and if they can lose it that way, thats scary!
Going to go check out your pics.
How's the food? I found we were full all the time, and decided we could never do the deluxe, because DH would be complaining about eating all the time. LOL! He complain he ate too much just on the regular plan.

Can't wait to hear more. When do you come home? I guess it should be soon now, if not already. I have litereally lost track of days and time since I came home.
