8 Nights With Deluxe Dining ~ Picture Heavy Pre Trip Report!

It must be the date of when you booked it. I know when I booked mine (in Jan) the day I check in is the last day that you could get the gift card for March. If we checked in one day later we wouldn't be eligible. I think it wasn't offered for most dates in March and April.

Is your Mickey mail your documents?

Must be... we booked in November I think right when the promotion came out. I wonder if it was like a limited number or something.

Mickey Mail is our documents ~ Mimi has been running everyday to check for it and she was staying at my mom's on friday night and she got hers. She called me up screaming "Memere has Mickey Mail!!" LOL! Then ours came yesterday and she was here ~ she was doing a little dance!

Down to 19 days left now and I need to start working on getting clothes ready for everyone. Me and DH are easy... the girls not so much.

My mom made them a couple of outfits and these awesome Dora pillow dresses. So they at least have that ~ and ZZ should fit into some of Mimi's old summer clothes... but I am guessing Mimi will need new clothes. Yeah! Shopping! Boo-hiss ~ finding summer clothes in Maine in the dead of winter.

*sigh*

Oh and to add to my excitement about the upcoming trip we got another foot of snow this week! Good times let me tell ya!

We have just under three weeks to go now!

Nice pre-trip report! We will be there March 27th until April 3rd with our DS2. His third trip! He loves it!

Here are our Day 1 Plans so far!

Day One

7:30 Wake Up
8:00 Out to Bus Stop
9:00 Ohana’s

Then I am thinking we will have a few hours to hang around MK ~ so I am hoping to hit up Fantasy Land Tomorrow Land and do a couple of things. DD1 loves the Teacups and the Race Cars ~ so we will probably try to grab a fast pass for Peter Pan or Winnie the Pooh and then do our other two rides. We will really only have a couple hours before lunch ~ which is fine because I am sure we can get at least these three things done and MAYBE a Mickey’s Phil Harmagic depending on timing. I would also like to take a ride on TTA for DH and DD2 since they LOVE it! I think on our way by I will grab a fast pass for SM to use for later in the day.

We have lunch at Crystal Palace and then plan to head back to the hotel for naps and pool time. I am not planning to force nap times this year… since the girls are getting older and even the youngest may or may not nap at home ~ but definitely some pool time if weather permits.

We have ADR for dinner at Chef Mickeys at 8:30 that day and I am thinking we can catch wishes that night at 10:00 if we monorail back over to MK.

DH and DD1 love, love, love the fireworks and Mena will sign more fireworks frantically when there is a lull in the action!! LOL! It is so funny to see her hands moving so fast!

I am excited to take my mom over to 1900 Park Fare as she has never been to the Grand Floridian and I think she is just going to love it! I think it really is more geared towards her age group ~ although we love the character meal there!

Illuminations we have never seen or haven’t seen in a very long time ~ and DH and the DD’s have never seen it for fact. So that should be interesting for us!

So today is the day of Princesses!!

For Breakfast we are going to Norway with the princesses! This was such a huge hit with my Mimi last year! It was also the last meal we enjoyed with my mom before she headed home. It was so funny when Jasmine came by because Mimi was peeking in her teeny tiny little top. She was in a phase where she was obsessed with ****s and how girls have them but not boys. So I was having trouble taking her picture because it made me laugh so hard! But I also got two of my favorite pictures from the whole trip here one with Belle and one with Snow White.

Here are some of the princesses we saw on that trip (I think it will be fun to take these same pictures and compare them from last year to this year)

Okay I guess it was Sleeping Beauty too!

So we will do some touring here at Epcot while we are there. I was thinking that one of us can go get fastpasses for Soaring or Test Track while the others checkin at Norway. We’ll see though. Last year we did Test Track single rider line… although I wouldn’t do that with Mimi this time. She couldn’t ride alone and I know we would be split up.

Lunch at Coral Reef before heading back to the room. DH is so funny because when we were there one year ~ our first year with dining and we didn’t know about ADR ~ so he saw Coral Reef and thought he had “discovered” a new place to eat. So we went in and they were like “we don’t have any available tables until January” this was in Sept. So it is a huge joke now that he thought he discovered it!!! LOL!

We are doing Bippity Boppity Boutique on this day too ~ we have never done it before so I am looking forward to Mimi’s reaction to having her makeup and nails done! Then a little touring in FantasyLand before we hit CRT for dinner. I am hoping we will catch some fireworks while in the Castle since Wishes is at 9:00.

We did CRT last year but my camera wasn’t working so I didn’t get any pictures.

Sounds like alot of fun. I wish we could go go go like that. Unfortunately I have 2 slackers with me! LOL! DD needs so much rest, and since she got sick the last two trips, I am trying to gear myself to restrain the go go go mode, but it is so hard. I would love to be at the parks first thing, but I know she needs to sleep in and it will be better for us all if she does.

You guys are going to have a blast.
I can't wait for our BBB too! We tried it with Claire last year, but she was sick the day before, and when we wen she started crying (still not up to par and too much for one week) so we gave up. This year we have it early in the trip!

Thanks Jen! We actually tour quite slow. But with 7 full days we still usually get to see a lot even with the deluxe dining going on.

I just ran out to target at lunch and bought my 1 inch binder, sheet protectors, small notebook, and Disney scrapbook kit to decorate it. I printed the spreadsheets I have so far and put them in the book!

Only 11 sleeps to go!

Crystal Palace morning with Pooh and friends! Hoping that we will get to check in early enough to get some pictures on Main Street with limited crowds. Anyone know if there are photopass photographers out? Anywho! Here are some pictures of our Pooh and Friends Breakfast last time…. I didn’t get many!

Yup! Just the one and none of us were even in it. Mimi was soooo, soooo cranky that morning. We had to wake her and she went to the park in her PJ’s and got dressed outside of the CP and had to have her piggies down right before we went in so she was a bear.

Anywho ~ we will do some touring around MK ~ I am thinking we should have time to get AdventureLand done. Fastpass the Jungle Cruise and then hit up Pirates and Tiki Birds maybe Aladdin and DH would love to see the SFR Tree as we never have.

My SIL will be dropping off the nieces and meeting us for lunch ~ so that might throw a wrench in the plans since she won’t want to buy a ticket just for meeting us.

We are having Lunch at GF Café , which we have never tried so that will be new for us… we will be four adults and four kids for that lunch! Big party ~ I am hoping everyone behaves.

We plan to be at the hotel for pool time and letting the cousins hang out together for the afternoon before we head over to 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Princesses, Prince Charming and the Wicked Steps. Mimi really only liked one of the Wicked Step Sisters last time we were there ~ I am hoping that having the cousins around will give her a little pick up from hanging with Mom and Dad all week!

We figure that after dinner we will try to catch the fireworks from the beach at GF or over to Poly before heading home for bed. I am guess with the four girls at the ages of: 22 months, 34 months, 3 ½ and 6 there won’t be a lot of sleeping going on!

I LOVE your PTR! The pictures are so amazing your little ones are beautiful... but i have to say, that picture of ZZ running away from the character is somethign my little sister would have done at her age! At the age of 22 she still can't go on splash mountain because of the "puppets"! lol

It is actually quite calm right now! I am guessing next weekend and trying to get them to school on Monday for 3/4 of a day is going to be crazy!
