We were thinking of getting a 8 in 1 Game Table from my parents for Christmas. I told my dm I wanted a decent one and she found a Harvard Gold from Sears. Does anyone have any of these multi-games tables and do you like them? I don't want my dm to waste her money if it is not worth it!

I don't have one of these, but I wanted to give you a friendly bump here in hope that someone else can answer for you :)

Are you talking about a childs game table or an adults? How big is it? Do you have the room to keep something like this out full-time? We got our DS one that was about 5x3 a few years back and it was alot of fun. However, he outgrew it very quickly. If you are talking about an adult-sized one, I think you will like it as long as you have the space for it. Good luck!

I just bought a 10-in-1 game table for DS2 and DS4 for Christmas made by Hedstrom. Bought it at walmart for $129. Not sure how good it is cause its in the cellar hidden.

We got one of those for the kids (then 3 & 8) for Christmas last year...that is, if you mean the ones where it's a table and you can play air hockey, pool, checkers, etc. just by changing boards/sides. The kids liked it for a while and then they started playing their own types of games with it - mixing up the game pieces and such. Then it started collecting whatever was left on the family room floor - a junk collector. We will be putting it up in the attic today to make room in the family room. It may come down again once we finish the beasement.

I am also interested in these tables, not so much other childrens reactions to them, but are the quality of the games good, or would it be better to buy a game table that only does one thing?

llebrekniT - I think that the table we are looking at is about 3 x 5 but my dh says that it is more for adults. It has a fooseball on top and you then take that off to get to the other games. The one we are looking at costs about $320.

Twigs - I too am worried about the quality, I kept telling my dm that I want a decent one.

Thanks for the responses so far!

we got the foos ball table at target several years ago I think the orginal price was around $129. The quality was nice but it just took up so much room, and our kids got so good at it none of the other kids wanted to play them and they got tired of playing each other. If you have to room for one, your kids would like it, and with the 8 games you would have more choice.
