I'll have 8 hours to get all I can of DisneyLand. The twilight conference tickets are $60 and $99 for a hopper.

Enjoy Disneyland or hop to both?

When are you going? My initial inclination is to say to just get the ticket to DL and forgo park hopping. However, it depends on whether you have a lot of things you want to do in DCA or not.

and who's going ( with ages ), if it's just a couple adults ( or just yourself especially ), you'll be able to cruise thru boths parks pretty quickly....

Are you hoping to see any of the new evening entertainment?

With only 8-hours and summer level crowds, I'd probably skip park hopping and concentrate on DL. It always surprises me how fast time flies in the parks, especially if you're hoping to do a lot of thrill rides and/or see the evening entertainment.

I would concentrate on one park, either one. But, DL will be open later, has the new firework and parade shows and is the park that is celebrating 60 years. DCA is fun, but not the same level.

Most likely DCA will close at 10:00 and DL will stay open until midnight. I would get hoppers. Carsland is beautiful at night. Sometime around dusk or dark, I would do a single rider line at RSR and enjoy how pretty Carsland is, and I would hop to DL to get that last 2 hours of park time. With just adults you can move faster than when you have kids along, and a DL you can be out of one park and in the other in 5 minutes, so I would get hoppers and hit the highlights of both. The nighttime entertainment can take quite a bit of time investment, so I don't know whether you want to take the time with it, as limited a visit as you are going to have. The new Paint the Night Parade is running a 2nd time at 11:00, so you might be able to catch that second showing without a horrible amount of wait time as the crowd should have thinned out some, if that is something that interests you.

If it was me, I would concentrate on DL. However, I am a huge fan of evening entertainment, so my priority would be parade and fireworks with as many rides I could squeeze in. :teeth:

I'd get hoppers -- the $39 difference is probably the difference between a counter service meal and a sit-down. Get cheap food and see as many things as you can. Heck, IMHO the Aladdin show at DCA is worth $39 by itself (although it will suck an hour or more of your 8). Plus with 3 adults you can go for a long time without a break -- you can do a lot in 8 hours!

Adults..and a Wednesday. You could get away with hoppers, but you'll have to move your feet to make the most of it, since it's still summer. If you're not a fast moving group, or don't feel strongly about DCA, just get single park and enjoy DL!
