Hello!

I will be staying in a 2 bedroom villa at the beach club this upcoming May. There will be 8 woman adults staying in the villa for a week..Will there be enough room for everyone??? Is that 2 many people..Im thinking if disney allows 8 in the rate it cant be that bad but I wanted people's opininon

Im thinking everyone's luggage alone will take up alot of room!? Would you be able to ask someone to put the luggage in storage somewhere?

We were going to go with 2 seperate standard rooms but we all decided against it thinking that at least we would all be in the same room this way.

any thoughts would be great!!!

plus if anyone has any newer pictures of a 2 bedroom villa at the beach club that would be awesome 2

thank you so much!

Hopefully if all goes well I know a couple of us may look into and become a DVC owner on our next trip

I personally think it will be crowded with 8 adults. Especially women if you pack like like I do!! There are not many drawers but if everyone can limit to one suitcase it would be better! We were in a 2 bedroom this past Jan and it felt crowded and 4 of the people were under 14!! but-no matter what you will have fun!!! Think of it as a long slumber party!!

pack light as you will have the washer & dryer.

as long as you don't mind sharing beds you should be fine. 4 ladies will be sleeping in pull out sofas - so those can be smaller than regular beds.

we were just in a 2-bed with 2 adults, three 14-year olds and a 6-year old and we were stepping over each other a bit, but there was still lots of room when the fold out sofas were put away.

I would say it depends on the women. If by 8 adults you mean 8 college students, no problem. If you are 8 40 year old women, you will be jammed. Remember that 2 of you are going to have to share a fold-out sofa bed. Are you going to rotate so everyone gets an equal chance to be comfortable at night?

You'll still have fun but you will be crowded!!!!

I would suggest adding another one bedroom and then request rooms close to each other. You'll appreciate the extra bathroom/space.

Have a great trip.

Thank you so much for the input.

Good idea about the packing light becuz of the washer/dryer..I 4got about that!!!!

Pray you don't get an accesable unit!

Did it several years ago with 7 girlfriends. Not sure I would do it again (with one 2BR). We had a great time but there was drama and tears. A couple of friends didn't talk to each other for awhile (even though if you ask, they all had a great trip). These were friends who never fought. Luckily I was able to stay out of most everything since I took off from time to time to do pin trading. We are not talking teenagers here. Youngest was probably 35; oldest 50.

We were at Boardwalk and with all the luggage, it was a tight fit. There were suitcases everywhere. If I did do something like this again, I would probably stay at OKW (more room to spread out). When we were all together in the living room (which is also someone's bedroom), it was too crowded.

A lot depends on how much time you think you'll be spending in your room, too.

everyone understands about the pull out sofas that turn into beds....wouldnt you think that if there was 4 adults in a standard room that would be even tighter??????

Also does mousekeeping but the sofa bed back together everyday! or do they just make the bed???

Can you request turndown service each night and if so is that extra?

Sorry for the drama and tears...We range in age from 62 years old to 30 years old....

I was just thinking that when My mom and her 3 sisters (all of which are coming on the trip) were growing up their bedrooms were in the dinning room and hallway they had a total of 10 people in the family living in a small apartment .....Maybe for them it wont be so bad they grew up that way!!! It will be like old times ......I HOPE!!!!! :rotfl:

At OKW, six out of the eight adults would have a bed to sleep in, and only two would be on a sleeper sofa. There is a lot more space at OKW, so the rooms feel less crowded, even with lots of luggage. I seem to recall there is more closet space, too, so more people would be able to store their luggage out of the way of the others. We have stayed at OKW with six adults and were quite comfortable.

No turn down service and if you are staying on points, no daily maid service. Whoever is sleeping in the living room will have to turn it back into a couch.

If this is a cash reservation, I don't know about the sleeper back to couch question. Maybe someone else has experience with that.

Someone above suggested another 1 bdrm....another option would be a studio in addition to the 2 bdrm, however, I believe at BC that still means 2 people on a pullout since I'm not sure if any 2 bdrms have 2 queens in the second bdrm. I know for sure VWL and BWV have some 2 bdrms (maybe the dedicateds) with 2 queens rather than a queen and a pullout. We get a 2 bdrm and a studio (usually within a few doors of each other) when we take all of our adult kids and grandson (six of us). The one time we just got a 2 bdrm and felt we were climbing over each other. Then, we just make sure whoever is in the studio has a key for the 2 bdrm also in case we split up at all and they want access to the 2 bdrm for the kitchen or w/d. In our case, we simply use our grandson's key (he's 5 and doesn't really need to have a key)

Depends. Are you staying on points or booking a reservation through CRO directly for cash? If a cash reservation through Disney, you'll get a full cleaning every day. If a points reservation or cash through DVC, you'll get your trash removed and towels replaced on day 4 for stays of 7 nights or less. If you stay at least 8 nights, you'll get a full cleaning on day 4 and trash removed and towels replaced on day 8. The housekeepers do not do anything the other days of your stays.

You'll only get 8 bath towels in a two bedroom villa (plus four hand towels and eight face cloths).

If you stay at the BWV, you will have a lock off two bedroom. That means the second bedroom can be rented out individually and would have a kitchenette. One double sleeper sofa and one queen bed in the second bedroom. One queen sleeper sofa in the living room and one king bed in the master bedroom. There are no dedicated two bedroom villas at the BWV.

If you stay at the BCV, you could have the same. If you are staying on points, you can request the dedicated two bedroom villa with two queen beds in the second bedroom (only 25 of these). If you pay cash, you cannot request this type of room. You could have a dedicated two bedroom with the same bed types as BWV or a lock off the same as BWV.

OKW would have two queen bed in the second bedroom, one queen sleeper in the living room and one king bed in the master. Lots more room than either the BWV or BCV.

No real turn down service at DVC resorts. But it depends on how you pay - points or cash through Disney.

I would never consider 8 adults in a 2 bedroom. Even 8 with some being kids is a stretch, unless a couple of them are babies. Hope you have a great time but be prepared for lots of elbow rubbing.

I know that I tend to go overboard with this subject, but I thought our 2 BR (dedicated) at VWL for 4 people was crowded! The tiny table in the dining area only seats 4, and that is a stretch. I cannot imagine what it would be like with 8 adults!:scared1:

We are planning a family (very small one) for Sept '08. The minimum number of people we will have is 4, the max will be 8. We are trying for a GV at OKW. The points for that GV are not that much more than at VWL, and we will not be "snug".
If we don't get the GV, we will get the 2 BR at OKW and then add a studio or 2 if needed. At OKW there is a nice large dining table, and lots of room for everyone. When we have company, room takes priority over location (for us).

PS This is not a VWL bash, see decal below!:thumbsup2

I don't think I'd ever do 8 adults in a 2 bedroom, either. We're doing 6 adults in Dec for the first 3 nights and then only 4 of us for the last 2 nights of the trip. I think we'll be crowded those first days but hope for the best.

If you're using points, get on the w/l asap for a DEDICATED 2 b/r 2 Q. Your biggest problem is the pull-out in the lock-off, it's only a full size. The one in the l/r is a queen size (as are the 2 regular beds in the dedicated 2nd b/r). The sleepers themselves are quite comfortable with the new foam mattresses. Good luck! :)

By using the hall closet by the kitchen and sharing the master closet (empty suitcases) they shouldn't be stumbling over luggage.
I believe some are sisters? Should be no problems sharing beds with them.
I think you will be fine.
We went with eight in March. The studio section was a little crowded, but again, if you share the other closets to store those suitcases, you should be fine.
