8:55pm Oga’s Reservarion - timing question

Thanks. That is what I thought. We have the Fantasmic Dinner package booked for the 8pm show. So that is a definite. Trying to find something fun to do after the Fantasmic show. It’s just adults on a Girls trip.

I'll probably get some hate mail for this but I'm a huge SW fan and thought Oga's kinda meh. The theming is great but the drinks were pretty boring/gross.

Oga's is definitely overrated. Not saying it's bad and you should check it out if you've never been but once is enough, at least for me. Very few chairs and tables and having to stand at the bar being cramped just isn't worth it for me.

We had 2 bookings for Oga's over the last couple of weeks but only did the first. It was nice to see the theming and have a drink, but I don't like paying that much to stand awkwardly at a bar. Even the tables were standing room only. I did say that I'd like to try again in a few years, but only when it's quiet enough to book a booth or they have stools at the tables.

They don’t have stools at the tables. They did have stools at the bar during Covid limited access, but then they removed them when they fully reopened. We asked for a stool last year when we were given a standing table because we had a mother who needed to nurse. They brought her out one of the stools meant for the booths. The table was about eye height, and she had to protect the baby from being bumped by passerbys. A little precarious, but we laugh about it now. You can always ask for a booth, but it’s not guaranteed. I’ve been to Oga’s more times than I can count (not by choice, mind you). I’ve asked three times for a booth and was outright told no once, was given a booth without asking with a 9:30am res, and had to wait an extra 45 min with a 2:30pm res; the rest was standing, except for the glorious stools at the bar during COVID. At the 9:30am res, DD and I were seated with 8 other people - 2 groups of four and us. We drank, and the rest didn’t, and the other two groups discussed among themselves why people would feel the need to drink 1.) in a theme park, 2.) so early in the morning, and 3.) with children present. We ordered another round, and the waitress asked if they knew cantina was another name for a bar. The second time was my most recent trip and the 2:30 res, seated at 3:15pm as a group of 8, and we had a 2yo and 5yo who needed a break from their feet. They sat a group of 3 at the table with us. This group was fun, so it was all good. So, even if you get a booth, don’t expect it to be quiet or peaceful!

That's awesome I would have asked them the same thing.
