8:30 crystal palace breakfast and rope drop

This is my first trip and my first time planning for a family of 7 so I'm a bit confused. I have a 8:30 breakfast reservation at Crystal palace. I'm aware we will be let in early but is it possible that we would be able to watch the opening show after we eat? Do we have to go back out to the gates or is it inside the park? Any answers is greatly appreciated!!

I was thinking the same thing but I wasn't too sure how that worked. I'll just keep my eye out for an earlier time. Thanks!
