8:25 FP SDMT, 9 BOG with Baby can we make it

Our FP's are for 8:25-9:25 for SDMT. We have to do baby swap because my 2 year old is a shorty. Will both of us be able to ride and make it to our 9 PM res? I know the baby swaps don't expire right away but by time we finish dinner it will be close to 10:30/11ish right? and we just want to grab a spot for the 11 parade.

Arrive and enter the FP line at 8:20, and you should be OK.

It's a little tight but I think you'd be fine. BOG is less than 5 minutes from 7DMT.

You should be okay. If the time cuts it close, you could always use the baby swap after dinner and let those who are not riding stake your spot for the parade.

I would say yes. We had a toddler who couldn't ride last time, and we both were able to walk right onto 7DMT with our fastpasses. The ride is only like two minutes, so we were both done within 10-15 minutes total, much quicker than I had expected. BOG is close to that ride, so unless the FP+ line gets backed up, I think you should be good.

It should work out, but if you were going back to the MK any other time during your trip, you could use the pass then.

I think you'll be fine. I've sone SDMT using FP several times and have always gotten on in just a couple of minutes (ymmv). And the rise is very short. If you get in line as soon as possible, I bet you'll be done with the whole thing within 20 minutes - maybe less.

We'll get there at 8:20 and if for some reason it seems like were are cutting it close I'll try and use the other strategy suggested and tell the others to go grab parade spot and I'll go ride. Does the parade start or end on main street? Will try and get seats toward the end of the route to buy some more time.

MSEP starts on Main Street. I do not think you will have a problem.

Making it to your 9 pm dinner should be easy, but a 9 pm dinner with a 2-year-old might be tricky. You know your child, so I'm not judging- I'm just not quite that brave.

This is the one time when him being a night owl works in my favor. Now the battle will be getting him up in the morning. If I let him he would sleep until 10 AM and party until midnight.
