*8/24 Update: Our Intentions Were Good, But The Treats Were Better: One Month in Disney (4/21-5/21)

The Mickey cinnamon roll at EPCOT was way bigger than whatever Gaston had to offer.

Where is that? I don't think I've seen it at Epcot. I'm looking forward to the new one at Kringla with the orange cream cheese.

For our "lunch" ratings, we included any restaurant at which we had just a sandwich, salad, or burger. Sometimes we ate them at dinner time but figured this was the fairest way to rank them. For us anything with an A+/A/A- are places we can't wait to return to. Anything in the B category we would do again but isn't a must do. The Cs mean that it was okay but nothing we're in a rush to do again. Ds mean we probably won't be back.

Thank you so much! I love writing the TR. It helps me to relive everything. I will definitely write ones for the fall and winter trips. It's funny DH is always suggesting new places to try and things to eat so I can write about them (especially if it involves cookies, lol). I have a lot of new stuff to write about already planned into the fall trip like MNSSHP, hopefully Beak & Barrel, an offsite taco buffet and our first Food & Wine festival!

That Gideon's cookies & cream buttercream cake looks delicious! I love the color of the frosting. I know what you mean about the ratio being off, though. That's why I have a hard time with Reeses pumpkins and Christmas trees.

If you're going to have a burger I highly recommend it (or the stack burger at Steakhouse 71)

As a transplanted RI-ander living in the DC suburbs, I can attest to the awfulness that is the drive north on 95. If driving during the week, there is no way to plow straight through without hitting traffic in either DC, NYC, or CT (and quite frankly you usually will hit all 3). But connecticut - UGH! I believe the quote I used last weekend after driving my daughter from our Northern VA home to my parents' house in RI was "connecticut blows chunks".
