We finally ALL found Snorkel Gear. DH and DD15 found theirs at Sam's for $40, DD12 found hers at Walmart for about $30, and I found some at the Sports Authority for $40. That is about the best we could do. And then DH took his to Florida to try it out and stood up in water that was more shallow than he thought and cracked his fins! LOL
At least now we can all go snorkeling!

Billylen, yep we have quite a group and we are hoping to get everyone together once we get on the ship.

My DH told me yesterday to quit hoping it will get here soon because then I am going to be crying because it's over. LOL

I still can't wait though.

I pre-booked my excursions!! I am so excited

One of our excursions begins at 7:40am (yikes!). What time do we usually debark on island days?? I wouldn't want to miss it!

Does anyone know if I will be able to plug in my portable dvd player on the airplane (Delta)? I am looking to buy one and will get the car/airplane adapter if the plane has this capability. It will save me from using the rechargable battery.

Depends on the type of aircraft and where your seat is. I wouldn't count on it though.

Generally teh seats on the newer planes towards the front of the cabin or in First Class are the ones with the plugs.

We booked the Island Tour & Butterfly Farm in St. Maarten; The St. John Island Tour (St. Thomas/St. John) and we booked Parasailing for my hubby on castaway cay.

We also booked the Butterfly farm and tour..We were thrilled to learn that we could bring my DGD (13months at time of cruise).
We are going to play it by ear as far as St Thomas..

I'm trying to remember....is it the morning at St Thomas that we have to get up really early to go through customs? And if we don't book excursions then can we do the customs part later (like 7:30 ish?

After I posted my last question, I read on another thread that someone sailing Sept 8 has received their shore excursion info package already. I don't have mine yet Do any of you have yours?

We got our shore excursion information within a week of making final payment. Either call your travel agent, or call Shore Excursion Desk/ (the phone # in booklet is 1-877-566-0968. Hope this helps.. My understanding is that some excursions fill up b4 you even get on ship...so do ASAP !!See you soon

Grannymary, I think it has been decided we are going to do lime green ribbons as it is a tradition of disboarders.

Whiskers, We received our tour excursion stuff the day after we paid off our cruise if that is what you are talking about. It came with a brochure and a list of prices.

Getting closer, can't wait.

By the way, we did book through DU, three cabins, that makes at least four as far as i can tell from these posts.

Welcome to the group Caren90. Do you have children coming? As you can see we have all ages in our big group. We are going to have lime green ribbons so that we can tell who is in our group. We haven't decided where to meet yet once we get on the ship. We are all very excited.
