1. If you are staying off-site and need to save some money I would suggest using the www.floridakiss.com web-site and click on the deals button. That is if you are uncomfortable using priceline. Although my check-in experience at the Holiday Inn Maingate East was not great (computers were down) the hotel itself was great and offered everything we needed, and things we didn't. We paid for 2 rooms @ $49.00 each.
2. Mears shuttle experience for me was good. It was just me using it so TTC would have proved to be more than I needed to spend. TTC is great if you have more than 2 people.
3. If you cannot get ressies at Cindys, Crystal Palace was a wonderful option and the food was better than I thought. The kids just loved it.
4. If looking for a unique gift or want to have something different to remember your trip, check out the Crystal Magic items at the Imagination Institute at Epcot. The paper weights were the least expensive @ $50. but the discount we received for 3 made it worth it. The paper weight also allows for 2 people to be in it.
5. Don't ever hesitate going into first-aid if you need to. They are great people and will go to the end of the earth to help.
6. Don't get depressed if your plane is cancelled on the way home! LOL Believe it or not, I found the extra night to be relaxing. There is nothing worse than leaving Disney and jumping back into "Real Life" the day you leave. I think for my future trips I will book a hotel stay around the MCO Airport the day I leave Disney so I have time to come down and reflect on my trip.
7. If you are cancelled and receive a free airline ticket as compensation...start planning your next trip right away! LOL
I will be leaving in 14 days to go back and I cannot tell you how grateful I feel to have found the Dis web-site in November. Everyone has helped me in some way to make this experience different than previous trips!
