8:20 ressie at LTT for breakfast...what time to get there?

What time can/should we get to the park for our 8:20am breakfast ressie at LTT? Would 8am be ok? I'd like to get pics of the kids on Main St. beforehand. Does a CM walk you to the restaurant, or how does it work?

8am will be fine but they generally open the MK dining line (at far right hand side as you go through security) at 7.45am. This has been the case on each of our trips. It is nice to enter as early as possible, certain areas such as Fantasyland are roped off until opening but you can get excellent pictures on Main Street, in front of the castle and also sitting with Walt and Mickey. The photopass photographers are out immediately.

Alternatively you can ride the bus/tram up to the top of main street.

We have never had our reservation numbers checked before entering MK although you are warned to take them with you.

An early ADR before opening is a must-do now for us every trip and no you are not accompanied up Main Street. Not sure how it is working at the moment with LTT doing the character meal, sure someone will be able to tell you.

Thank you so much for your help! We are so excited as this will be our 4th trip to WDW, but the first time in a park before the masses. I am planning on taking TONS of photos and savoring the walk up Main St. I can't wait to see the MK during a 'quiet moment'. I think I'm more excited than the kids are!

We went to breakfast twice at LTT the second week of Jan.

Once you are done enjoying the empty main street there will be a CM stationed at a rope that goes across the bridge entering into Liberty Square. There will be another CM as you near LTT.

Very low crowds for the breakfast while we were there. The CM's said that not many people know about breakfast there so it hasn't been busy.

I believe that yes it is.. but only for January and February while Crystal Palace is closed for renovations.
