8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC

I would currently consider us "hopeful." I agree with the thought that it is better to be on board than watching her sail through the canal on the internet like I did last time--too painful.

Quick question for those that sailed a canal repo last time. If you don't have a verandah to watch the crossing from, just how crazy was it on Panama Canal day to get a decent spot on deck to observe going through the locks. We are traditionally in inside or SPC rooms but given the length of this cruise and the canal are considering a cat. 6.

In the end, again, I would rather be onboard than watching from my desk!!

Count DH and I in. Sent our request into Merrie at DU yesterday, hoping for a verandah (either one) but we have a set budget so it may not happen. DH and I will be celebrating our 20th ann. on this cruise!

Just got in for lunch and am catching up (again), LOL!!!

We have a list of things we are using this cruise to celebrate. The more things we come up with, the cheaper the cruise seems to become, LOL!!!

DD's graduation from high school--June 2008
DD's 18th birthday--September 2008
DW's "early" 55th birthday--March 2009
My "'early" 55th birthday--April 2010
My "early" retirement--June 2010

Gee, have I left anything out, oh yea, DD said she didn't want to go on her Senior Class Trip to WDW in April 2008, so this cruise we also be replacing that. All things considered, I think we are getting off rather well!!! LOL!!! Besides, it will probably take me until June 2010 to pay this trip off!!!

Late 15th anniversay (Jan)
15 year anniversary of our business



Wow, made me realize that school year will be a big one in our family and we will only have a day to prepare!!

For those who have a request in with Inventory Control, at what point do I have to start sleeping with my cell phone so I don't miss the call? I'm guessing we won't be getting called over the weekend?

I've already been taking the cell and the portable to the bathroom with me!


I thought I'd read somewhere in the 50 million posts that we should really stay close to the phones, starting on Monday....??????......anyone???

Thanks! I will be away for the weekend, but I'm taking my cell. DH has all pertient info posted by the kitchen phone with a cross-reference list in the bedroom, and directions to just say yes to the nice people when they call.

I have a teeny tiny tattoo ....well, let's say it WAS teeny tiny, until I gained a TON of weight. No one has ever seen it (except DH) and no one ever will! My kids don't even believe I have one.
