This will be a game of 7's Touch Rugby on the beach, Co-Ed, no tackiling. 7's rugby is the summer version of conventional 15 a side Rugby Union, with 7 min halfs for a total of 14 min. playing time. So we're looking at a total of max 1/2 hour on the beach.

We would need a couple of hookers I mean subs.

I would like to have 2 practices durning the cruise on the sports deck during the week. At this time we would assign positions and give out jerseys.

I will provide jerseys for the participants as well as refreshments at the Chonched out bar post game.

If your interested please PM me and let me know your shirt size.

I would also need a referee. Preferably someone familiar with the rules of the game.

Sad reality hit today

Visiting with my family today to celebrate my nephew's girlfriend's birthday. We started talking about our next family reunion. Our reunions are a big deal with over 120 people in attendance (I know that probably freaks out Enna and the others in the WPP). It's my dad's side of the family and my grandma had 8 kids, hence the big reunions. The next one falls to my dad's clan to plan, we rotate around each time.

We have them ever other year over the Labor Day weekend....can you see where this is going? Well, the last reunion was 2006, so guess when the next one is?

I totally forgot about the reunion when planning this TOAL. In addition to myself and my son, my parents are booked too! So now, either I miss the reunion or I cancel the cruise. It just makes me sick. I don't want to do either.

My family is great. I have the ABNORMAL family in which parents are still married, sibblings don't hate each other, no thieves, drug dealers, murderers etc. Even within the extended family, every gets along. In the 20+ years of having these reunions we've never had any fights or cops called (except for being to loud at night).

But my new family here is great too. And the one cruise I've always wanted to take has been TPC. I suppose I could switch to the May Repo, but then I wouldn't cruise with all of you.

I've got plenty of time to make a decsion so I'm not going to do anything right now. I realy don't want to cancel the TOAL. I have a feeling my parents will probably cancel though.

UGH!!!! I can't even think about it anymore right now.

That is going to be one tough decision! We have an extended family party twice a year, with 50 or so people. One in the summer, one at Christmas time. We missed the Christmas one last year due to a cruise. I think it was the first one I ever missed! But beings yours are only once every other year, that makes it much tougher on chosing. We have an extended, extended family reunion every five years or so with over 200. I am wondering when the next one will be. While you have gotten to know so many on this thread, there are some great people on the May repo as well. And you wouldn't have to stop chatting with us either. Maybe you should try to book a room on the WB as an insurance?

We will be getting back early on that Sunday. Not sure how long your reunion is, but you may have time to do both. Good luck with your decision!

Looking forward to sailing with some of you again and others for the first time! We had a great time on the last August repo, looking forward to the new ports of call. I get to celebrate my birthday again on the ship (this time turning 40!) and like some of you we're staying on the Magic for the 5 night sailing.

DD4 just came in with a lace curtain draped over her head saying she looks like a wedding. I asked her who she was going to marry and she said "Daddy!"

sweet!!! I sure miss those days!!

DD9 has moved on to the boy across the street!

Hi everyone, happy Monday I'm trying to ketchup from the weekend ... but jeez you all were busy. My news for the day is that I was able to score tickets to see The Police at Fenway Park this summer for my DH's b-day. I tried to make it a surprise, but as I was ordering online, I missed the opportunity to change the billing information from my CC to my Dad's Now to just see if there's any way to keep DH from viewing that CC statement when it comes in ... otherwise, I'm gonna HAVE to fess up. He won't be at all upset ... but I still wanted more of a surprise

Happy Monday everyone! I cannot even PRETEND to have time to ketchup today...

No work today...We spent all evening FLOODING THE BASEMENT yesterday!!!!
Jen put a load of laundry in the washer yesterday before we left to go to a friend's DD's birthday party. Well, we got home last night to a completely flooded basement!!! (the washing machine is broken, so it is leaking all over...AND it's stuck on the rinse cycle, so it CONTINUOUSLY leaks all over while it's on!!!! So the ENTIRE time we were gone last night, we were flooding our basement!!!!)

AND, Jen was in tooth pain last night, and made an emergency dental appt this morning that's going to cost us about $1100.00. I just got a call from her to bring the credit card to her. She didn't bring it with her because she thought she'd be able to cover it with the debit card...

SO, after she's finished at the dentist, we get to go buy a new dryer!!! YAYYY!!!

I'm trying to keep my sense of humor about the whole thing...so I don't cry...LOL

OK, better go get this credit card to her before they make her work off her bill...HMMM....maybe that's an idea...Kinda like washing dishes at a restaurant to pay for dinner...Maybe they'll let her pull some teeth or something...

OK, be back later after I'm finished handing over my arm and my leg for teeth and washing machines!!
