Not only does a teaspoon of sugar help the medicine go down, it also gets rid of the hiccups!!!

Angelina came home from school one day and told me that, so the next time I had the hiccups I tried it and it worked. Just did it again a few minutes ago and the hiccups stopped immediately.

if that dont work take a lemon slice put sugar on it and then some bitters works EVERY time its a bartenders trick do you know how many drunks i see with hiccups

Happy Monday everyone! I cannot even PRETEND to have time to ketchup today...

No work today...We spent all evening FLOODING THE BASEMENT yesterday!!!!
Jen put a load of laundry in the washer yesterday before we left to go to a friend's DD's birthday party. Well, we got home last night to a completely flooded basement!!! (the washing machine is broken, so it is leaking all over...AND it's stuck on the rinse cycle, so it CONTINUOUSLY leaks all over while it's on!!!! So the ENTIRE time we were gone last night, we were flooding our basement!!!!)

AND, Jen was in tooth pain last night, and made an emergency dental appt this morning that's going to cost us about $1100.00. I just got a call from her to bring the credit card to her. She didn't bring it with her because she thought she'd be able to cover it with the debit card...

SO, after she's finished at the dentist, we get to go buy a new dryer!!! YAYYY!!!

I'm trying to keep my sense of humor about the whole thing...so I don't cry...LOL

OK, better go get this credit card to her before they make her work off her bill...HMMM....maybe that's an idea...Kinda like washing dishes at a restaurant to pay for dinner...Maybe they'll let her pull some teeth or something...

OK, be back later after I'm finished handing over my arm and my leg for teeth and washing machines!!

What adorable ! My DS has a collection of his Disney birthday buttons, so I'm glad to know that he should be able to get one in DL when we are there pre-cruise. (His b-day is during the cruise.)

DL just recently went to buttons for Bdays. They usually write the Bday person's name on the top of the button.

Not too far away, Williamstown is about half-way from our house, and where my Dsis lives in Egg Harbor Township.

I actually also drove to DE from Williamstown and went over the Commodore Barry Bridge.

The guuy I was supposed to meet said he had to leave the house at 3. I got there at 2:40 and he was nowhere to be found. I had to run to DE and luckily I got a hold of the guy on my way back. Picked up the desk and A/C unit and got home in time to see Amazing Race. Long day after a long day and night.
