First car was a 1962 Ford Falcon. It was a bright red convertible with an inline 6 cylinder engine.

Totally don't want to make you feel old Brack, but that was my dad's first car too!

We just had an earthquake!!!!!

I was getting ready to log back on and the house started swaying.

Rock n Roll baby

It wasn't very big, but it was centered about 10 miles from me.

Jordan (DD#2) SWEARS she felt the earth move at Alcatraz that weekend that we were there. :confused3

Oh she knows. I filled her in, so she gave the title to Crash.

We didn't all have the captain's girlfriend protection.

You go girl . . .yes, it should be funny for Crash . . .isn't that part of the song . . .okay I can not admit to the amount of adult beverages consumed during the "after" party, but I do remember the Rugby Queen song

Um no, not over everywhere.....only half hour into it when you posted...and it just started for M

That's weird....it was on here from 7:00 to 8:00....aren't we only an hour ahead of you right now?

I couldn't remember the song through a 15-year-old beer fog, so I googled it. The only part I could post was 'alouette'. :lmao:

Yes, we're all fine. No damage reported on the tv reports yet.

These little ones are actually fun....guess it's the adrenalin (sp?) junkie in me. You just shake around a little bit then it's over. They actually make me sick to my stomach if I'm at work when it hits. Our building is on rollers that take the shock of the quake, which makes the building sway for a few seconds longer than the actual quake. I get motion sick.

But I'll take an earthquake any day over a tornado or huricane.

HOLY COW! No thanks!

I told DH tonight that something must have been sorely missing in my childhood....I get so excited about things like this...well, all things Disney!
That must be it, cause I KNOW there was something sorely missing in my childhood and I'm the same way! LOL
They are only doing this at WDW though, correct? See I always miss out on the fun stuff... no telling when we'll be back to WDW again. :(

We have some friends who just got back from WDW last week. They got the golden fastpass for MK. With two young children, it was a HUGE blessing for them. .. It is so cool what Disney is doing . . .:dance3:
What's the golden fastpass? is it a fastpass for every ride or what?

Yes, and I so appreciate it too. Because if I had been surprised by something even remotely like that.... I would NOT have been a happy camper.I mean listen, I already have self esteem issues! That title needs to go to someone who is secure enough to know the things being said are NOT true! LOL

I;ve heard good things about the Putum County Spelling Bee... but I have not seen it personally.

Let me tell you a funny story... Feb 10th was my 11th wedding anniversary. But last year (on our 10th anniversary) my MIL passed away. Since I know the DW may not be up for it, I did not formally plan to do anything special on our 11th anniversay.

Well come the evening I ask DW if she wants to go out. She said sure. So I call my mom to watch the kiddies and decide to come into NYC and go to TKTS to get Bway show tix... I was hoping to get Putum COunty tix... but they had just sold out.

Most of the other shows we had seen except for the Color Purple and some other show called the Laughing Dog (or something like that). Well the DW did not want to see the Color Purple and the "Dog" was supposed to be a comedy. So we went for it on a whim.... well the show was about a male homosexual couple and yes there was frontal nudity.... :scared1:

Needless to say it was a memorable evening...

But I will make it to Putum County sooner or later!

:scared1: :scared1:

Have you tried the CM power box? It really helped me get me act together for my trip. . .now it's just spending the time to get it wrapped up . . soon . . :rotfl:

What is the CM Power Box? I sure could use some tips to get motivated!

Thanks,

Poohmom :hippie:[/quote]

It's a creative memories thing . . . I use lots of things, but it's the main one. Give it a try. You can google their website . . .

Shows that air at 8 eastern start at 7 here, which is 11 eastern, so AI ended at midnight in Judy's part of the world.

It is way past my "thinking" time. That is far too much thinking for me. But then, I didn't do so well at "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader" either....so maybe I'm scrambled all the time. :guilty:

This one is in honor of our "recent" (what, only 60 pages back?? :rotfl: ) talks about flying...

pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
Why did the pirate buy a plane?
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
Because he wanted to be an aviatAAARRRRR!!!
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:

Parents meeting at school tonight. Didn't get to read hardly anything today - 40 pages back. I'm doomed.... :sad2:

Golly . . I really hope Spelling Bee is a little more family friendly as we are taking DS12 & DS10 . . . We're in the Bible belt here so I think we'll be safe . . .:dance3:

I'm not sure why we are figuring out how old our kids will be when we are 49, but mine will be 24 & 22.

And we will be living in a cardboard box after paying for college for 2 boys who are only 1 year apart in school.

Ladies, gentleman & rugby queens . .

I'm off to never, never land to prepare for a very rainy, windy and busy day tomorrow . . .

TTFN:flower3:

They're doing it at Disneyland, also.

The Magical Fastpass, or whatever they call it, is still only good for the rides that use Fastpass....but you can still get your own Fastpass and then ride twice.
And each pass is only good once on each ride....it's not unlimited.
I think if they really wanted to make it special, it should be unlimited. But then, they wouldn't be able to give as many of them out, either. So at least this way, they're making more people happy.

Because I was feeling like a very old mom...turning 49 in a couple of weeks and my two kids at home are only 13 and 16. Still have a long way to go before we can think of retirement.

But I forget that a lot of people are waiting longer to start their families now, so I'm really not the only one.

DIALady

Putum should serve the Bible Belt crowd just fine...

Let me know if you like it.

Gnite!
