We just had an earthquake!!!!!

I was getting ready to log back on and the house started swaying.

It wasn't very big, but it was centered about 10 miles from me.

Well it was not huge but a 4.2 is nothing to sneeze at. See that you have had a couple of small after shocks. I and now hammering on a very large peice of wood but we have not had an earthquake in quite awhile, not even a same one. I think the kids have never felt a good one. They were born after the Northridge 1994 quake.

Well, it is after 12 here so I guess I better get to bed. The kids start getting ready before 6 am so tomorrow will be a long day. Don't know why I do this to myself. Yes, I am addicted to DIS.

Jack it seems that we have stayed in building 20's and I think 17 or 19. They were very convenient to a bus stop and pretty close to the quiet pools. People seem to really like to stay up close to the hospitality house and the main pool. But the way the resort is layed out we have always walked to the main pool or Olivia's and not had a problem with it. There is even a walkway that you can take to go over to SSR and then walk to DD (I always like to take the boat though).

Wow! Glad you and your home are okay . . . I always wanted to go through a "small" earthquake just to see what it feels like . . .

Yes, we're all fine. No damage reported on the tv reports yet.

These little ones are actually fun....guess it's the adrenalin (sp?) junkie in me. You just shake around a little bit then it's over. They actually make me sick to my stomach if I'm at work when it hits. Our building is on rollers that take the shock of the quake, which makes the building sway for a few seconds longer than the actual quake. I get motion sick.

But I'll take an earthquake any day over a tornado or huricane.

the only way to have a cheesesteak is wit wiz and onions mushrooms and sweet peppers at tony lukes after the flyers games. im sorry so behind im trying to ketcup my 11mt old nephew is living with me and last nite he had a allergic reaction to formula (he was allways brest feed) threw up like the exorcist and had hives all over yeah it was a busy nite

I would assume it would come on at 8:00 like it does everywhere else..... I am sorry........guess I will just shut up for awhile.....can't seem to make anyone happy......

Oh, I see you're checking the quake maps.

I didn't even feel the aftershocks, but I knew they were coming. I'm sure we'll have a few more tonight before it finally settles down.

My son is really upset he didn't feel it. As soon as it started, I yelled to him but he had his tv up so loud he didn't hear me. By the time he did, it was over. He's been wanting to feel one, but he never does.
