I think I've got early Alzheimer's. The brain is not functioning. I made baked steak....the kind with brown gravy, not tomatoes....and I forgot to make mashed potatoes! We sat down to eat and the boys were just kind of looking at the table.....

I'm losing it, I tell ya.:sad2:

You need a nice hot bubble bath & go to bed early tonight. :grouphug:

TKTS has a couple locations in Manhattan. One is in the Times Square area. They sell day of the show tickets at half price. It works well if you do not hav your heart set on a particular show. If the shows have unsold seats, they make the seats avail. for sale at the TKTS location. They also only take cash. Check their web site for recent shows that had tickets. Jack

thanks so much! gonna have to check that out. my parents and my bro are coming too, and they've mentioned wanting to see a show.

Stace, that is why I always keep Country Crock or Bob Evans mp in the fridge! They are a life saver!

That sounds like a brilliant idea! :thumbsup2

Paula when your walking me to my cabin, will you please help me remember my swapped book.....thank you! :rotfl: :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao:
Oh sign me up for that one too.

Well I am going to head off to bed also. Talk to you all tomorrow evening.
Hope everyone has a great day.:wave2:

That sounds off-color out of context doesn't it? How about this, and the blenders are never empty. That's better!

Unless, of course, the blender plans to play rugby.

Yes, there is one TKTS in Times Square and another near the South Street Seaport. You'd be suprised at the shows you can snag for half price.

I was there on Feb 10th (a Sat nite) and many good shows were avaialble (Phantom, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Color Purple).

TKTS in Times Square only sells tix on the day of the show. The Seaport one also sells tixs one day in advance for the following day's matinees.

And finally I have been thru waverly.. and Elmira... and Corning.. and the rest of the Southern Tier... I went to Binghamton for undergrad!!!

Oh no you haven't! I can have 2 bestest friends. You're too superty cool not to be my bestest friend always in my heart. :)

OH
MY
GOD!
I'd have had to held my HUSBAND back or we'd end up in jail (he's the hothead.. I'm mouthy while he's physical I guess. Not that I've ever seen him in a fight but I could see it happening if someone did that to our baby!) I cannot believe she did that! The entire restaurant would have known what a loser she was and what she did to my baby because I would not have been afraid to tell her what I thought and LOUDLY. I cannot believe she did that... what nerve! (and as if popping a headband on an infants head is somehow "less obnoxious" as putting the headband on the baby to begin with? What are people thinking???)
 Oooh, this story made me totally mad. Furious.

If I hadn't just had surgery (C-Section) I probably would have lobbed her head off. And Jay was equally mad, but he'd never go after a woman.

Oh I hate kids like that! Well hate may be a strong word, but I severely dislike them. LOL There always seems to be one kid at Ruby's slumber parties and such that is like this- and I have to lay down the law because I don't even allow my OWN kids to go scrounging in the cabinets just looking for something to eat (although they know where things are, they still ask if they can have this or that and get permission before going to get it to eat) and I wonder if some kids were raised in barns or something. I mean I know my kids are LAZY/messy- such as leaving things around all the time, but atleast they take their shoes OFF and just leave them on the floor and stuff instead of putting them up, they would never go putting their dirty shoes ON the furniture! for crying out loud...

I was at the bookstore today and bought a book called "I Hate Other People's Kids". I was embarrassed to be buying it, but it's really funny!

My MIL had double knee replacement years ago. She recovered quite quickly and is doing very well now. I wonder how long they are expecting you to wait- until they think you only have 10yrs to live or something? LOL (I say that because earlier you'd said they said they last 10yrs and you'd have to get it done again if you got it done now... so what- they are waiting till they don't think you have more than 10yrs to live to do the surgery? Otherwise ANYTIME you got it done, you'd be likely to get it done again in 10yrs. :confused3 Good point. The one thing I WILL wait for is when they start to use the "woman's knee".

I was all confused and thought AI came on today because I was all confused thinking today was Tuesday! What's that about? I even took the girls to GS so I know it's Monday because of GS... so weird. You're having one of my "missing brain" days!

Oh and we probably won't go on the cruise. I was all thinking oh hey the kids are off, sis can watch them and we can head out on the cheapest cruise la-ti-da... totally forgetting that DH would have to get off work! And totally forgetting to add in the loss of income for the week on the "cost" of the trip.
:(

Awww...bummer about the cruise! Jay has a chance to go to Utila with our dive buds, but he doesn't think he should leave work. I told him it would be good for him. (Just makes it a little easier for me to get away with the Moms!;) )

Stace, that is why I always keep Country Crock or Bob Evans mp in the fridge! They are a life saver!

I have some that are similar to that, but Jay said not to worry about it. I think it was my son who was the most disappointed. And he's the only skinny one who should be eating potatoes!
