Ooooh! My DW just came back from Target with some pirate goodies for the kids. Pirate lanyard, pirate pencils, and mini pirate carry-all. She as you know follows this board religiously and was able to make these fantastic purchases with the help of you all, so i thank you.

I keep telling her to sign up, make a sig, but she is too shy.

And BIP, don't worry, we don't have to have a Rugby Queen, we were just joking. I have heard of this rugby custom but it's not widely practiced in the NY Metropolitan Rugby Union.

I'm kidding Crash. DH is also a trekie. I just don't get it.

Here's what my Anakin costume is modeled after. I even have the matching boots modeled closely after the real movie props. I imported it from Singapore... it set me back $250 excluding the Master Replica light Saber which my spouse always admonishes me against using as I broke one already and HAD to replace it.

I also got my spouse a matching Padame costume. You kno... the skin tight one with the torn mid-drift top? It was the one she wore in episode 2 right after she escaped from the execution my monster attempt in the bug stadium... here is an image (below)...

Alicia has all the matching accessories... the belt, holster, boot "gleeves" and even the "Blaster" exactly like the one in the movie scenes where this costume was worn. However, hers' is only a plastic WalMart toy that cost $15. It shoots silly string. Her costume is still missing the metal upper arm band and I need a decent gloved hand that covers the robotic one which replaced Anakins' arm lost to Count Doku in the cave lightsaber fight.

Not sure what our weather is "supposed" to be this weekend. Haven't paid attention. but it's getting REAL close to warm enough for us to swim in the backyard pool and we're all anxious to swim in it for the first time! Unfortunately no heater on it so the water in there is still rather cold...

I've been locked away in a conference room all morning. I finally get back to the office to check the e-mail and DIS (ok, not necessarily in that order ) and I see something about prices going up if you're stuck in GTY purgatory. PHEW!!!!!!!

The state attorney's office looked into the incident and decided the case does not deserve any criminal charges.

DCL went to GTY status very quickly on this cruise, one of the CM's I spoke with said that because things were as crazy as they were they system stopped assigning or giving the option to pick room numbers. Some people got room numbers when paying their deposit, others had room numbers assigned to them by their TA when other people didn't come through with the deposit. There have also been some people over the last several weeks who have received a room assignment out of the clear blue. So while I would like a specific room (5122) I'm not going to get it because we are GTY, but at least I'll have room.

That's the end that we wanted to be on too. Closer to the drink station and it's so quiet.
