No, but I really miss our web site. I need to know if someone has made a decision on what color the T-shirts will be.

Has anyone else seen the commercials for Blades of Glory....Will Farrel's new movie....it looks hilarious....the commercials alone are killing me

I haven't even seen the commercial yet...only the poster at the theatre...and I was dying! We will definitely have to see that!

In that case, I think you'd want to look at the cedar chests instead of the toy boxes.

Those plastic Rubbermaid bins work well.

Did anyone ever say whether you could put jibbitz in the mickey holes? I don't know if I really even want to mess with those- for any of our crocs, including the mickey ones. I think it's kinda silly to clog up the holes that are there for a purpose! (breathability, get water/sand/etc. back out of the shoe/etc.) But if I get some mickey ones for the kids, I just KNOW my diva (youngest DD) would want some of those... so I'm curious if they fit in those mickey head holes or if they fall out?

I believe that is what the people who posted that on the budget board were doing with them. You could probably find a few threads over there about them.

Janie did join the DIS group for brunch at Palo. Since one of the main activities was making fun of me, she was able to fit in rather comfortably.

On that cruise, by the end, I was the only swabbie posting in a sea of wenches so they had plenty of ammo.

But none of those had a tight enough seal on them for my 13-year-old.

It does get pretty vicious. The absolute worst was last year, when Jordan was a cheerleader. She didn't even try out this year....it was just not her thing. Those girls were sooooo nasty. And most of the moms were, too.
It isn't about cheering on the teams anymore, it's all competition. This year, she's sticking with her true love, dance.

I really think if you raise them to be loving, caring, decent people, then they'll know the "right" group to be in. Emphasize good grades and good manners, and they're much better off.

Stace ITA!! My ds is very shy and not particularly athletic, so he isn't in the "poular/jock" group. But his friends are the best kids....real and true friends. I remind him that I graduated with about 350 people from my HS and I only stay in touch with about 4 of them. If you can make real true friends, friendships that last a lifetime....you are very fortunate.

Disclainer: I have been reading (and sobbing) all of these heartfelt stories, but have not given a shout out or hug to each one. I want to so much give each person here a big hug for any hard-knocks or bumps they have hit in thier road through life. So if I happen to come up to you during our cruise and give you a great big "in person" hug, please do not find me strange!

My family is textbook....my sister (the oldest) is the most motivated, goal-oriented, leader type.....me (middle child syndrome ) I'm the peace maker of the family.....my brother (baby and prodical son) is the family comedian, slacker, etc....

Actually they are for my teenage son. I have been thinking about re-doing the basement (a project put on hold by this cruise) and am looking for quotes on what it will cost to build a dungeon cell for him.
