No noone appreciates my humor in quite the same way as you.......

As long as you realize it's all fun until someone gets an eye poked out, as my mom always said. I always figured since I wore glasses, I was safe.

LOL! Sure! That's what a lot of the spouses said last time...until they met the rest of us & joined right in. :thumbsup2

Janie did join the DIS group for brunch at Palo. Since one of the main activities was making fun of me, she was able to fit in rather comfortably.

On that cruise, by the end, I was the only swabbie posting in a sea of wenches so they had plenty of ammo.

Thank you! I'm very lucky I think that they get along as well of they do.

DD & DS just told me I need to get clearance before I post their pic! As if!!! I just learned this picture thing............revenge is SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told it was rather mean to post that Tinkerbell picture of DD since it made it look like she was upset all the time. So here is one from a few minutes later.

Rhinos are hard to come by in the United States however.........:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Aren't you guys glad you learned that new word on this thread? Now you sound so intelligent....:lmao:

I would have no idea how to pronounce that word.

OK so we have the extension cord covered but who is going to bring the power strip? :lmao:

I think many of us bring one for our staterooms. So we can just have a long string of power strips. That's not a fire hazard, is it?

Otorhinolaryngologist.

Do rhinos named Otto get a lot of sore throats? Seems like a very specialized practice.

(Sorry, that's the best joke I could come up with. Only one cup of coffee this morning...so far.)

Skorts have the skirt flap in the front but look like shorts from the back. Scooter skirts have the skirt going all the way around & the shorts sewn in. :thumbsup2

How do you ladies remember and deal with all of this. Let's see -- we have shorts and pants.

Well, and pink dresses.

Wow!! I wonder who I can bribe to get on this cruise!! I tried to book it and it's full (of course). *bangs head into wall*

I will get on this ship!! *throws on her 007 gear*

Hello all.

OMG!

Has anyone else seen the commercials for Blades of Glory....Will Farrel's new movie....it looks hilarious....the commercials alone are killing me :lmao: :lmao:

Again, it's probably just me, but I have never found a Will Farrell movie to be hilarious. And I've seen most of them. Maybe it's just a certain kind of humor I don't get.

That may be but I've seen several toy chests online at Target...note that most of them aren't available in stores, just online. Mind you, the toy chests we have seen cost about $150-$200!!!!!!!! You may be right about kids getting caught in them...the most common form of toy organization we've seen is either shelves with tilted bins or a bench with large open-top bins undeneath.

Our Toys R Us still carried toy boxes the last time I was there. Most of them were the Step 2 plastic kind, but there were a few wooden ones.

IKEA also carried toy boxes the last time I was there, which was sometime last year.

Chaos is fine until DW (in a scene from Road Runner) steps on a block, reels back in pain only to step on a giant lego, whilrs around and smacks her head on the open bedroom door!

Of course DS thinks this is a silly performance for his entertainment benefit!

Ooh, been there done that. Usually followed up by yelling, screaming and the throwing of toys into the trash. Not a pretty scene.

SWMBO was working from home yesterday and had all three kids at home for President's Day (her penance for being out of town the past two weeks).

I got home and said the house looked like a tornado hit it. My 10-year-old pointed to his sister. :rotfl:

But none of those had a tight enough seal on them for my 13-year-old.

Hello all.

Space is going to open up . . . just keep checking and don't give up -- particularly when the deposits are due to next year, but I don't think you woud have to wait until then if you just keep an eye out for openings.

Good morning everyone! :goodvibes Has anyone gotten their room assignment today? :confused3

The kids are already at school. They had the time to fight so it was time to go to school. DD doesn't like being there before the 8 am bell because they have to sit in the hall & read a book. Maybe they wont fight tomorrow morning. :rolleyes1
