Dearest Tag Fairy, I have to share an amazing discovery. It has become clear that receiving a tag is a magical cure for PMS. It has taken me from this(shrieking harpie) to this
(cuddly and lovable). My DH has asked me to extend his sincere gratitude to you for this dramatic turn of events. He has declared your powers "miraculous".
He wishes you to know that he is a believer and he is in your debt. (Chocolates to follow!)

We drove through DFW area and Texas last year on the way to New Mexico what a flat stat...we got caught in a traffic jan and sat there for quite a while.. watch the 4 wheelers just drive over the grass and up the hill to get off the expressway.. sort of made their own exit..
Do tell.......

Oh that is one of my pet peeves. I totally agree with you Shelleyoh you definitely got my prayers! I will be praying hard for her!
Yeah, it's really sad because Ruby really wants to do well and isn't trying to skirt doing homework, she just forgets. If I didn't do the agenda to help her remember- she would genuinely be upset when she forgot to do homework. She especially has a hard time remember things that are "out of the norm". For instance she has math homework every day (including Friday- she's in advanced math) so she can remember that because it's like clockwork for her. Same with practicing her clarinet ofcourse. And a few other things are "fairly" regular, but when it came to something totally out of the norm and ESPECIALLY things that she had to work on over an extended period of time and just "remember" when it was due eventually (like speical projects for various classes)- that's when she'd forget- it wasn't due the next day, she'd forget to write it down, and they weren't reminding them. They'd be like okay 6wks from now on such and such date turn this project in- and then never say another word about it... until it was time to turn it in (and in one class not even THEN! Didn't say a word until the next day when it was late- they had to just remember that 4wks prior she'd given them an assignment/project and to put it on her desk without her saying a word, on that specific date. What was sad is that Ruby did it, had it in her binder, just totally forgot to turn it in because she'd had it done for awhile and she can barely remember some things the next day, let alone weeks earlier! to remember a specific date to turn it in without the teacher saying a word? not happening. LOL)
THOSE are the types of things she has the most issues with -out of ordinary homework assignments and projects due much later to turn in on specific dates without any reminders from the teachers. I know they have to learn responsibility sometime and she's getting close to highschool but frankly when I was in highschool they didn't expect us to be THAT responsible (and she's only in 7th grade). They might say something was due in 4wks but they would like remind us the day before or ATLEAST remind us that day that it was time to turn it in- yanno? Sometimes I think they expect a little much from kids at a younger age than us- not the work, it's not that... but just expecting them to be so responsible and have perfect memories about things like that. If she was more organized on her own and would learn to make notes for herself to remember, keep her binder organized so she'd SEE the homework there to remind her to turn it in/etc.- she'd be fine. You'd think my notes/list making would rub off on her some- but so far not. The only way we can get her to do it is with the agenda that must be initialed by teachers and all I said already.![]()
ME too!!!gotta sign off and watch LOST... see ya in the am before work or at lunch..

OmG it would be the same here if I did not remember, MYSELF, every Sunday night to fill that sucker out and sign it and threaten all sorts of things if she forgot to turn it in the next day. Many times she'd forget and only remember to turn it in (late- minus points) when the teacher would ask her on Tuesday. *sigh* I so here you on this! And I probably would have never known about it either, if it wasn't in the band handbook at the beginning of the year (about this I mean)We had to get into it with our 7th grader over this. He got a 'C' in Band -- yes, Band, and we found out one of the main reasons was because he never turned in his signed practice sheet. We never knew there was such a thing.
The thing is, he practices almost every night. So he was doing the work and not getting credit b/c he never showed us the form!
You heard what the Captain said, "Only posts ending in 50,000 really count". Leave the little ones to the wenches.
I first heard about the governor's decision about the vacine down there on the View, then it was on the news tonight. I am thinking that I would have to file a protest & refuse to allow DD to have this vacine at this point even if it meant that she had to be home schooled. How is it actually being received down there?
OMG...I GOT TAGGED!!!![]()

Yes, absolutely all thanks to the Tag Fairy. If you ask DH though he would probably tell you that I looked much scarier than that this morning!
