I absolutely hate the shoes & refuse to pay that much for them period! I was in WM in October picking up some beach shoes for the kids for $1 each & they had a pair of black and a pair of white sandle fake crocs in my size for $3 each. Those shoes are so comfy! They were great on the cruise because I HATE flipflops...which I had gotten to use for the beach. I can't stand the noise & the way they fling sand up your leg.

I think since a local store has them - I will go in and try them on..see how they look on...still not sure...I think I like the idea of the Disney Jibbitz more than the sandals....

oh - and someone earlier mentioned switching the straps - at the Jibbitz site you can buy just the straps - but they are $8....

:)

hehe....behind your back...hehehe
Oh good grief.
And here I almost put "right under my nose" there and I backspaced to put behind my back thinking it would lead to less joking.. how wrong I was!

NO WAY!!! Nothing inbetween the toes!!!
I'm usually the same way- can't stand things between my toes. But the crocs are really soft and don't bother me between the toes! Seriously!

Family pic time...although I don't have a fancy Shutters photo....and it's a few years old....but one of my favorites, when my son still wanted to hug mom...

The orange shirts are another cult thing for a band we follow. Their fans wear orange shirts so the band can see us in during the show. Of course, most of the time we're all in the front row, so no missing us. :rotfl:

Oh, and it's hard to see us in this, but this was our 2004 trip to WDW at Christmas time. It was only about 45 degrees....I had no idea FL got so cold.

I'm not sure what you mean "transferred" until 2wks before. Do you mean the seating? I don't even know if we had that at all before the last cruise, atleast I wasn't aware of it (and if I had been, I would have known I wasn't seated with the linked seating like I should have been!)

What I'm talking about is not actual seating assignments/chart. I'm talking about having us linked for the dining times, before 2 weeks before the cruise. You know- where we knew WHAT TIME our early or late dining time would be and already knew our rotation because we knew the time. KWIM? I'm not talking about seating charts.

(I didn't even know you were doing that! Hmmm, wonder where we'll be seated on the chart. LOL)

Yes, that is confirmed at the 90 day mark with DCL...more than likely before that point. When you coordinate a large group for dining you have to assign which station each group will sit at. You don't know where they will be placed in the room BUT you group people by 18...an 8, 6, & 4 top per station...which can be pushed together once you board & meet your servers depending on where the tables are in relation to the room & walls & such. I grouped everyone by kid's ages last time, after taking care of the large family groups traveling with the DISers. We had table toppers as well to put on our tables with the group logo on it.

HOWEVER!!!!!! ALL I can do is email that list to the DCL coordinator who will note on the assignment DO NOT MOVE on our tables when she faxes it to the ship at 2 weeks. Not everyone was where they should have been on our last cruise the first night BUT some of this was due to people changing their rotation to have formal night in Lumiere's after they boarded or just switching out for whatever reason. This resulted in the stations no longer all being next to a DIS station when the entire station moved to a different rotation.

All I am going to ask this time is IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE TIME THAT WE WILL BE GETTING FOR LINKED DINING OR IF YOU REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SIT WITH THE GROUP.....do not send in your information when I request it. There were over 250 people last time between the two seatings and that included family groups traveling with DISers NOT in our group count. I expect that I could have up to 600 people to coordinate for dining this time. I hope that this doesn't come across too harshly but I would prefer not to waste time trying to accommodate everyone for dining if they do not intend to stick to it. This is not directed against anyone here...just what I have learned from experience with this.

How do you comb your hair!!!!!!!
I really dont think I could ever put that stuff in my hair again.

Most days I have nothing in my hair. Onthe rare occasion that I get all gussied up its Kiwi for me.

I don't have to comb it after I spray it up is stiff like a helmet (you remember) it just isn't a BIG helmet anymore :rotfl: :rotfl:

On top of everything else, my hair is thinning a little, so I need spray...

that's why I try to drawn attention toward my beautiful feet!

Yes - not sure when I'm coming or going yet - I'm trying to steal an extra day down there for myself. I'm putting in for it this week, so I'm either coming back home on the 21 or 22.

Lorri --which Hyatt is it? Grand Cypress, airport, or the crappy old hotel they call a Hyatt and its just wrong........

Everytime I look in the mirror and I know 40 is fast approaching ...thats Motivation to me ....

and I dont mean that in a modest way .....trust me ....the experience is starting to show om my face ...

pirate:

I once told my mother that I planned on having a face lift when I was old - and I still feel that way. Fortunately I don't any wrinkles to speak of, but I've started to notice a certain "muddiness" to my complexion, surgery doesn't fix that.

My goal is to have a body like the 50 year old grandmother from the bowflex commercial before I turn 40. I fully intend on wearing a bikini on this cruise - and look d*** good too!

Way behind again ... DW had a rough week, she's working on her PhD and with all these snow days, holidays, sick days, the kids haven't been to school a full week this year. In fact, I think they've only been to school 5 full days in the last 3 weeks and they have a holiday tomorrow. Anyway, she couldn't get enough study time and has been real upset about her last research paper that was due last Tuesday. She's afraid she may need to drop this semester if the grade comes back bad, which would mean she couldn't start her disertation in July, which means no chance at graduation next summer. Anyway, the cruise is to be hopefully a graduation celebration, but she says she wouldn't want to go if she doesn't graduate. So, I made a big dinner with Maryland Crab Cakes (her favorite), Stuffed Flounder, & Lobster Tail, then, to top it off, I pulled the DCL Chocolate Souflee (sp?) recipe offline and made her dessert. Here's hoping to a better week!

This is how DH and I celebrated our 20th anniversary a year and half ago. Like you MR, I was also a child bride!
