Or both together???
No need to send out a search party, or call a plumber... I survived Amtrak!!
Granted, it was only a short 2.5 hr ride to Boston, but still... I was worried after the horror stories I read on here. Every time my nieces "had to go" I cringed.Thankfully, the worst thing that they ran into was that the hot water was too hot. Personally, I simply refused "to go" on the train. Made for a super long trip home after a couple beers at the pizza joint across the street from the station plus the station when we got back home was just as icky so I had to wait until I got myself home. Phew - that was a close one. TMI? Probably. Do I care? Nope.

Anyway, I am so exhausted!! There were 7 of us and we were up and out by 5am. The train ride itself was fun and so much better than making someone drive. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Once we got to Boston, it was 2 subway rides to the Aquarium (same as I remember from 10 years ago), lunch underneath Quincy Market (very good with Guinness on tap), and then to Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes (where the program was $20, a bag of cotton candy was $7 and a snow cone in a souvenir cup which I did refused to get them was $12!). We had a little over an hour after that was over, so we went across the street for pizza. Didn't get back home until about 10pm.
In any case, it was a very busy and long day. After lunch, all I could think of was "If I was at WDW on or the Magic, at least I could go back to my room and have a nap now!!". So, after grocery shopping and errands this morning, I think I will take a nap and catch up with this thread later.![]()
Crash you are too charming. I am glad to see your surviving your "princess" weekend. My DH is actually 6'7" tall, so he is easy to spot in a crowd![/QUOTE]

Does this mean I won't be squeezing my friends for the "date" referral fees and introduction expenses?? RATs! I was soooo looking forward to scoring a little spare lucre to help settle my ship expenses.![]()

Being more than 50% Irish, gotta love the tunes. We most definitely are Diane..............
And for the Irish in the crowd........
Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side......
It's not a sing-a-long until we sing Danny Boy and everyone cries and then a fight breaks out![]()

HEY!!! I'm dieting!!!! Maybe if we all diet we can just use 1/2 a gorilla's worth of space. We're going to be at least 2 gorilla's worth at the rate we're going.
HALLELUJA!
Hmm, that leaves me out. I am not planning on having a birthday that year.As this is a "Trip of a Lifetime" I think everyone who is having a birthday at anytime during the year should celebrate it on board!![]()
I said the same thing. I even told Mark I wasn't walking around with him when he wore them. UNTIL, I tired them myself. "Hello, My name is Laura and I am a Croc addict."Crocs have to be the ugliest shoes I have ever seen! Now with that said ...I want a pair because they are Disney (Mickey)! Are they really comfortable...am I going to have to do a mind over matter thing?
chrissie
Hmm. I don't think I want to know what you mean by "in BS"Awww Common.......... You have your shorts and stuff on when you board the ship...........dont be silly. Just wear them in the shower...........or pool.......or water excursion.......let dry when your in BS !!!![]()
Mark
Nope, more fun to just watch him walk.I hope FGM packs lots of Gold Bond Medicated Powder in her bag.
I have BUNCO tonight. Any of you other wenches play?
DS and I are also afraid of the dark. I left the bathroom light on last time, with the door closed 3/4 of the way - it was the right amount for us.
Glad you had a good trip Jennifer. I love Boston. That is where my Mom is from. I haven't made it up there in so many years--keep going on Mickey trips. Thankfully my Nana (90 in May) comes down for 2 months during Thanksgiving and Christmas. No need to send out a search party, or call a plumber... I survived Amtrak!!

Man, you all have beautiful families. I love to see everyone in there finery. The kids are so cute. I can't wait to see everyone in person. I'm sure that as nice as your pictures are, that they don't do any of you justice. Because you are all beautiful in my heart. DD threatened me not to post her picture. I think she is beautiful but she is in those teenage, "I look ugly" years. Wish she could see what I see. DS is pretty handsome so hide all your 15 year girls.
