Not this time.

Well, I guess I've outlasted everyone again...

And I wonder.... if someone here is still waiting on a room that would love to have the cat 11.
$99 a night for a room all 5 of us can be in (not disney view, but with balcony/2 queens/rollaway bed).
I went ahead and booked 6 nights but I'm not sure we'll actually go that early. I just didn't want to have "issues" later on if I made the reservation for less nights and wanted to add more nights later and not have availability in the same room/etc.
I'm CONSIDERING taking the kids earlier and then DH catch up with us when his work week is over (he works m-th if he doesn't work the other days as overtime). I'm still not sure though. I'd have to trust DH to bring his own luggage (cause I can't take all ours PLUS his by myself with the kids and all! and what I mean is making sure he brings everything he needs- some things can't be packed a week earlier if he's still at home needing to USE those toiletries, razor, etc.) and get the vehicle situated at airport parking, etc. LOL He's used to me handling everything- yanno?
So we may just go all together and only get there late Th night (late late) or early Fri and then have 1-2 days at DL. We'll see.
We have lots of days on WDW passes. I always buy at least 7 day PHNE and forgot I had some so we have 2 sets with only a couple days on each one used. That is one of the pitfalls of compulsive planning. You know you need it and forget you already took care of it.Now I need figure out which tickets to purchase. I'm 95% sure we'll go with the City Passes but need to check out all the options.
Yea, I'll be getting back to New York with a pair of sea turtles strapped to my feet.
I booked Howard Johnson Anaheim. Not a DL resort. Too expensive for our blood- we want to save the money for the cruise! it really depends on how things "go" this year whether we'll be able to even afford everything that the cruise involves (plus a few days at DL because we can't pass up probably the ONLY time we'll go there... well I've been there once but it didn't count- I was almost 9mo pregnant, there alone on business at the time, and only walked around in awe for a couple hours- rode nothing, bought nothing, and did I mention only a couple of hours?!?) Jeff can have really good years with lots of overtime, big bonuses, etc- and then he can occasionally have "not so good" years and we're a little tapped out at the moment what with buying a new house, bigger mortgage payment, etc. Yanno? So we'll have to give up the thought of staying at GC.
I called around some of the hotels I had on a list someone here gave me (sorry for not remembering who it was!) :
Carousell Inn
Best Western Park Place Inn
Dessert Inn and Suites
Tropicana Inn
Camelot Inn
Howard Johnsons
I'm sorry. I can't remember which ones would let you book at this time and I already threw the paper I had away. All I did was make scratch notes of prices and all I remember is Howard Johnsons was the cheapest.
DL resorts wouldn't even give me prices but I looked online for august 2007 and it was too expensive for this trip.
We are staying at the HOJO in Anaheim also. We got a group rate over on the other board. There will be alot of us there at least 2 nights, before leaving on the Magic on Sunday.
For the 3 of us, we have a Disney view with 2 queen beds, it was around $111.00.
Poor puppy. You should put him in bed with DH![]()
Yeah well my dog seems to have acquired Norwalk or the likes and keeps pooping everywhere. .......no not bricks........picture splats.....
I have shampooed carpets all night.......So my DH puts him outside and forgot about him....He fell asleep(DH)
I go to shut the light off and there is the incredible popcycle dog stuck to my french door.....he is all warm now that mommy cuddled him.......right after I wiped his rear with baby wipes......
