Free Old Country lunch for kids on snow days

It's a snow day so there's no school lunch, but there's a free meal for children ages 12 and younger, with paying parents, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. today at both the local Old Country Buffet restaurants, says Jim Peterman, community service representative for the restaurant chain.

Old Country has two locations, at 3179 Erie Blvd E., DeWitt and 3667 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Old Country has had the policy for two years to help parents out on snow days, Peterman said. There's no more than two children per paying parent, he said.
