we are in Baldwinsville - between Oswego and Syracuse! WE didn't get the feet of snow they got over and over last week - sometimes we were only on the edge of the Lake Effect - but last night we got 1 1/2 to 2 ft. The banks are up well over the mail boxes. Reminds me of the winter we had when I was young - I grew up a little farther north in Oswego County!!! Just a small distance can make a big difference with the Lake Effect - bands tend to be narrow...

Ice storms are the worst - wouldn't trade all this snow for one ice storm....The plow guys are doing well here this year - thing is up until the last couple weeks, homeowners who paid a contract at the beginning of the season were complaining they weren't goint to get anything for their money...welll, this is a case of be careful what you wish for!!!

we have enough snow - hope you guys get some!!!!

Let's see, I'm listening to Cold Case Files on A&E, intermittently giving Tramp (the dog) attention, talking back at Kokomo (parakeet) because she's in a talkative mood, ate breakfast (cheerios with a sliced up banana in it- yum!), I've printed out this pictures graphics thing of the younger two that's going to be put in their yearbook, printed out Walgreens rebate, called to pay my water bill, called for hair appt next week, called for Rita's dentist appt next week, made Tramps vet appt next week, and called to book our room near DL for our TRIP OF A LIFETIME.

All while typing here.
Multitasking queen...

That is because you are a women. Today, I'm just chatting but I have already fed dog, fed birds, exercised etc. But yesterday I was reading posts, downloading pictures, emailing, making a London shade, ironing, talking to the kids. and the list goes on and on.

I don't know if our parakeet will talk. She's still a baby pretty much. She's hand trained now but doesn't talk yet (if she ever will). I do think she said "pretty girl" once, but it could have been my imagination. She sings real pretty though!

Be very happy they don't talk. Ours talk and talk and talk. They even laugh at the right times. Actually, it is pretty fun to have a bird that talks back.
It is the screaming that we hate.

This lady needs some ketchup, will everyone with ketchup bring her a bottle!

I lost the post, but yes, I do go to Temple School of Pharmacy. I'm in my 2nd prof. year, so two and half years to go. Luckily, I'll be entering my last year of rotations at the time of the cruise. I'll pick the worst rotations if that's what I have to do to be off for the August block, so I can go on this cruise.

Figured...Do to the location of your various jobs and such....

One of my friends i graduated with went to that program. He said it was one of the best. He was always such a science buff and such.

I loved the environment but never had the head for advanced math and didin't even have the stomach to dissect a frog in HS.

I grew up in NE philly. Right near the river (off the academy rd exit of 95)

Yes, I know it's because I'm a wo-man.
Oh I can't stand the screaming. My sister tried to give me her cockatiel and I was like are you nuts? I can't stand the screeching!
(I think it was a cockatiel. I can't remember now. I just know it's loud but not a parrot)

Ummm....no. I've been trapped in the house with a kindergartener, first grader & 3 dogs since Tuesday. There is no comparison.
