Morning all! 7:30am here in beautiful NJ. Having a cup of coffee and seeing what went on last night.

I finally watch the Jar O'Dirt video in YouTube. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

For you Capt. Jack fans, be on the look out for the March issue of Latitudes & Attitudes. This is a sailing mag. Gracing the cover is Capt. Jack himself and it has a nice article on POC:AWE which was shooting close to the offices or the publisher. This is the first time in the 10 year history of Lats & Atts they have placed a man on the cover. It's usually boats, babes or babes on boats.

Crash -I.O.U. one :mickeybar with sprinkles. I finally found the post with the instructions on adding an image back at 10421.

Don't feel bad. I used this screen name for a login at a travel website and then my wife wanted to log in and check it. I told her the user name was my full name, backwards. She couldn't get it right and I had to go log in. If my wife can't get my name right after 15 years, there is no hope for anyone else.

I was afraid to ask how you pronounced your ID and all I kept getting was "yar-green-ho". :3dglasses

I get long layers. This is the shop owner that is the rave of the town but only the 2nd time she has cut my hair since my regular person moved oot. I get long layers with bangs and nothing shorter than my chin....except the bangs. Well, I now have shorter layers all over and my hair looks like it has those stupid feathered wings. :sad2: I was just getting to the point where I liked my hair again. I don't like having to mess with it. Now I am going to have to do alot to keep this stuff from frizzing out to the side...hence the term mushroom head. :(

This will cheer you up Lisa, look at the haircut Britney Spears got yesterday:

You asked for it. :rotfl:

Nice sofa. What's up with all the pillows?

I ran a survey recently on the DIS... it was mildly comprehensive and evaluated several considerations where I had curiosity: IE, what were the assignments folks obtained (simple enough), but what were he assignments IF you were a Castaway Club repeat patron versus a 1st timer? And what if you booked direct with DCL versus a TA? AND... I asked how many folks were happy with the location they received?

IN general... my unaudited survey suggested that CC patrons were less likely to receive a big bump in upgrade. And the possibility of getting from say a cat 12 guarantee to a veranda was almost zero... versus the same chance for a 1st timer had potential! In fact, the best a CC could hope for was a bump to a window while a couple of 1st timers reported they got bumped from a 12 Guar up to as high as a 6 veranda!

Oh yeah... most folks say they were happy with their cabin locations too.

Logical, most repeat CC members will have found the cabin they like and stick to it, whilst any new cruises most lilkey will be careful of costs and go for a lower CAT first, so if DCL upgrades them, there is more chance of them coming back a second time and at the higher level Cat.

Once you have started to repeat you are hooked and they upgrade you less!

Caroline I can't find the post again to quote, but I'm sorry you spent time in the ER and I hope you feeling all better really soon! :grouphug:

That is very true. I love the 1998 lines. DD had quite the collection of it. There are only a few pieces that still fit her. :( I got them on Ebay & thru a gymbo yahoo loop group for $5 per piece or less. Cape Cod, Cotten Candy, Autumn Berries. :( I miss those outfits! They were so cute!!! :(

I have a beautiful line from gymboree that I bought about 2 years ago. I remember buying it for one of our disney cruises and how it didn't fit her when it was time to sail...lol. She was a small baby. Its a fishy theme. It is soooo cute. MY DD wore it for 2 summers in a row. Will be needing a new wardrobe for this summer though.

Thought I would drop in for a moment. I have been reading the summaries..:lmao: I'm hoping to find more time to stay up or maybe things will slow down once the dust settles :rotfl: . We will see. I am excited about all the plans, braclets, t-***ts and etc. Thank you all for the planing and posting :thumbsup2 . This is going to be an awesome :cheer2: cruises. Janet and I dropped the 9/18/07 eastern :sad1: so I could be more supportive to my sister and go to the airport with her after the western in 07. so we transferred that booking to the 5 day after this :cheer2: . Figure I need the time to sleep after 15 days with all you Party :dance3: Animals. I am so looking forward to meeting each of you. Lois

Okay so I did not go to bed when I said I did.....

Roger what is it you do in the hospital? I know you have mentioned it but if I was to guess I thought you said a pharmacist but then you said you rounded on patients........

Yes I am Judy. But not the kind that fills prescriptions. Doctors tell us what to treat and we write orders and follow patients (TPN, antibiotics, coumadin,...) With reimbursement being so low for the doctors, it is much easier for them to have pharmacy to dose. We have gone from 8-10 patients 10yrs ago to 30-50 patients now.

Morning Everyone!:surfweb:

I have been up since 4AM EST. Had to catch up on all the posts. Finally did.

I hope everyone on the east coast is thawing out.

Question out there to anyone who can help - how many days are needed to visit DL and CA. I plan on leaving on the 13th from Norfolk, VA. Will this give me enough time to tour and maybe get some sightseeing in before the cruise?

Also which hotel in or around DL would be a good place to stay? Does DL offer Magical Express? When I go to WDW I never rent a car but use Magical Express and then Disney transportation to the parks and Downtown Disney.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Andrew UK - I heard that story several years ago and everytime I hear it I still chuckle!

Stay warm Everyone!!

An elderly couple walk into Mcdonalds. They order one hamburger, one order of fries and one drink.

The old man unwraps the plain hamburger and carefully cuts it in half. He places one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counts out the fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placing one pile in front of his wife. He takes a sip of the drink, his wife takes a sip and then sets the cup down between them. As he begins to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them keep looking over and whispering "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them."

As the man begins to eat his fries a young man comes to the table. He politely offers to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man replies that they''re just fine - they''re just used to sharing everything.

The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn''t eaten a bite. She sits there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again the young man comes over and begs them to let him buy another meal for them.

This time the old woman says "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything."

As the old man finishes and was wipes his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again comes over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asks "May I ask what is it you are waiting for?"

The old woman answers...

"THE TEETH."

:rotfl2: I wish i could say that I saw that coming...eeewwwwww :)
