Got moved to main dining! Woo Hoo!
I was a bit concerned w/ the possibility of eating dinner at 8:30!
Now, the really stupid part is we eat late at home but I am an early-bird and can't stay up much later than the shows.

Congrats on getting Captains dining.

I know what you mean about eating late - we didn't eat tonight until after 7. Now tomorrow we'll be eating by 6:30 (I get home earlier) and on Wednesday it's no later than 5:30 (DS has CCD at 6:30), then back to late for Thurs and Fri. But I really felt we needed to have early dining on this cruise because of the time changes.

Cocoa butter, french fries, vinegar, salt water, and beer. It's the smell of my town in the summer time.

Had dinner with mom. This is a good question I was already asking my self. Best I could come up with is some kind of meat, some kind of starch, some kind of veggie and lumpy gravy.

A Cheeseburger in Paradise?

If I could go with a guarantee of not puking, the moon. However since I can't even ride Mission Space, a more likely scenario would be to Switzerland to meet my distant relatives.

We be warned by the Cap'n about "blah blah" postings to reach pirates lest we walk the plank. That being said...
1. Smell: the disgusting black diesel smoke from funnel on the Magic as we're leaving PC.
2. Dinner: DH lasagna

Kimberly- I'm so glad you were able to get a room! It's interesting that rooms were made available when most of us don't even know what room we're in yet. If they have openings for more bookings, surely they aren't OVERBOOKED still? And can get us of gty or something? Did you book with a room or gty? Are you going alone?

Interesting that you would ask that question when tonight I can't smell a DARN THING. I'm so stuffed up- sneezing, etc. Major allergy attack tonight. Fortunately I only get them about once a year but when I get it -it's a doozy and lasts awhile. I'm so thrilled. yeah. (not)

I have no idea where the conversation is now because I'm still 75 pages back, but I had to announce that I'm coming out of lurking for good!!

I GOT A CABIN!!!

I've been religiously checking the DCL website and miracle of miracles, tonight there was a cat 9 that popped up instead of the error message. So I immediately called the Castaway Club and saved my spot!

Let's not even think about how much I'm paying for only 1 adult at this point. It'll all be worth it next August. Besides, maybe I can persuade someone to come along with me by then.

Anyway, now I'm really glad I've been "wasting" at least an hour a day of my life for the past 2 weeks lurking on this thread so I don't have to go back and catch up on everything.

Can't wait to meet everyone and to get to know you all personally in the next 18 months!!

I heard a word that fits what these little girls are wearing -- they are dressing as 'prosti-tots'.

Exactly! I HATE HATE HATE the Bratz mess. They even have baby hooker dolls now. I do not allow my DD to have the dolls, watch the cartoon, or dress like them. She has been taught that they are inappropriate & not nice. She no longer asks for them in the store. The other day we were looking at toys in Target & she wanted to see the princess dolls. We turned down the wrong row and she said Mommy I don't want to see the bratz dolls. They are inappropriate. A woman nearby said that she wished her DD said that.

Good for her & you! I hate those bratz dolls too! I guess I miss the old days, when the raciest doll on the block was Barbie! Kids grow up too fast as it is, why would we encourage it even more?

Sometimes boys really are easier. Course, we do get a lot fewer choices.

DS is SO easy!!! Take a pair of jeans out of the drawer, grab underwear & socks, grab a striped shirt out of the closet...he's done! Neither of them are brand named brainwashed yet so I am lucky there.

ITA!!! For her 5th b-day my DD got a Sponge Bob Barbie wearing low riders and a midrift. DD brought it to me because she said that it was broken. I asked her what she meant and she said the obviously somebody made a mistake because her clothes were too small. Bratz are not allowed in this house either. Now, if we can just nip the American Girl thing in the bud we'd be in good shape!

Thanks MR - I was telling my trainer tonight about this lovely lady from the DISboard who carries 100 lbs of alcohol in her backpack on board ship, and that I was going to need to help her and her trusty cordless blender out and carry on an additional 100 lbs so we don't run out - I think he got confused with August 2008 and February 2007!
