Lisa, of the 8 time we took the Auto train from Virginia to WDW, we were late by at least a few hours on 7 out of 8 occasions. Twice we hit a car on the tracks and there was one fire.:(

Wow! I guess I have been lucky. The last time I took it we had to wait at the station for about an hour before we could get off because we got there before the station opened.

Just catching up so I'm very late with my responses as usual.

BIP: I didn't want to call you that until you agreed to it, but I'm so glad you did! I love the name BIP!!! :thumbsup2

Has anyone ever seen Fun In Acapulco starring Elivs? If you have, you'll know why I just have to go see the cliff divers. I know someone said that you can just take a taxi & pay the $3 admission, but the price with dinner didn't seem that bad & I'd really like some nachos & a margarita while I watch. Someday we'll do the dolphin swim, but not this time.

We are also planning to stay at DL on DVC. Most likely it will be at the Paradise Pier. We will also purchase transportation. I really don't want to have to deal with a rental car in LA. I also want to do the LA tour since it will probably be the only time I can get DH to go out there. He is not a fan, so I have to take in as much as I can in three days. Maybe we can plan a group tour for anyone else who's interested?

I rode Expedition Everest and screamed like a girl.

Miss me guys....?

I am like a 100 pages back but plan to catch up by later in the week...

How bout that Anna Nicole? Scarey stuff...

Anyway rides....I used to be able to ride anything before DD was born...After that i can't even look at anything that spins (Merry go Round, merry mixer)

I did surprise myself and went on Mission Space Full Version in Aug 02. Loved it. But i did breath in, breathe out the whole ride.... Think i can just cross that off my list of rides and move on...

I have rode EE twice over two trips so far... DH refuses to try it... DD loves it and i think it was way better the second time... The first time i was so scared, i forgot to breathe and was pretty dizzy afterwards.

We all love Rnr Coaster...

Haven't done Soarin yet... (fast passes had run out or we didn't have more than an hour to wait in line)

Haven't been to BG since i was a kid..(the BBW wasn't even open yet) but i loved the loch ness monster.

Hi everyone! For those who will be spending several days here in So Cal before the cruise and are interested in going to some other attractions in addition to DL, I am posting a link for the Southern California City Pass. This is for 2007, so the rates will probably change slightly for next year, but I thought you might be interested in seeing what it includes.

OMG A friend of mine (who does the Disney drive at least once or twice a year) commented on how the nutty NASA chick is a genius. He said "now why didnt I ever think of depends, it would get me to Disney that much faster"

:scared1:

I do not even know if Jeff (I mean MY Jeff ofcourse) even knows how to play rugby. He's at work but I'll ask him. (like tiggerandpooh said, he might be willing even if he doesn't know how as long as the rules are explained and all that)

However, I know for sure if anyone wants to play volleyball at the beach or basketball on the ship- he'd like to play. He played both during our trip to Jamaica, but didn't have anyone to play with on the cruise the last time (and we didn't even go to the adult beach of CC last time either)

And ofcourse if we ever organize any scuba dive groups- he doesn't want to be left out this time! :lmao: So count him in on that.

I was doing a bit of "research" in the other forum/etc. about Disneyland- since I feel like a total newbie when it comes to DL (as opposed to WDW ofcourse) and someone showed an incredible link there-

That really helped me a lot to get an idea of where things are in relation to DL, so I thought I'd share. :)

Thank you BBB. Nice map!:thumbsup2

Oh and when you add him to the roster there... if you want to tell the difference between my Jeff and Jeff that is already on there- you can just call him BIP's husband or our nickname for him: Grumpy. It's a joke because he's not real big on Disney and didn't want to wear any Disney shirts so on our 2nd trip to WDW I bought him a bunch of Grumpy tees and he actually DID wear them- hence the nickname Grumpy. (he's not really grumpy! just thought I'd explain that) That's all he would agree to wear- well that and then later the Mickey on a Harley tee and the POTC tees. :)

Did you really say that???;)
