:lmao: I think I may need to keep in the same direction to make it on time. But we should have a mini meet some time! Thanks for the offer!:goodvibes

Always up for a DIS Meet :thumbsup2

I know not exactly in your area, but we are heading to NYC April 13-20 for DD's spring break :scratchin :rolleyes1

I received one room assignment on thursday and my second room assignment on friday. Another in my group got room #'s day one. A third pirate is awaiting assignment.

And of course, the $64,000 question is: was it from DCL direct or are you going through a TA????

Excellent! Where are you staying? What are your plans? Let me know if you have any questions . . .

I'm lost! Where's my ant guide to help me find my place in the line again?

I've read something about dressing up in costume from the POTC movies, but I can't figure out which costumes are already taken. I would REALLY like to try to do Elizabeth's costume from Dead Man's Chest.

I'm sorry if someone has already posted this information before. I haven't caught up...again.

I've been doing some searches for Cartegena shore excursions and there don't seem to be many places that offer them. So, when I finally found somewhere with excursions, I thought I would share them here:

Wow, great research, thanks Kim - YOU ROCK!!! :thumbsup2

I don't have the time to read through them, but saved the info for future reference.

Just called DCL and was able to switch from late to early dining no problem. Those thinking about switching may want to call and check on it today.

Also, I asked about my GTY status. CM said that the whole cruise was basically sold GTY (yeah right) so that there was a little more flexibility to keep families together and that they probably wouldn't be assigning room numbers until closer to the sailing date. :rolleyes2 Now, I'm don't really believe her so I will definitely be calling back at some point, but thought I'd pass along the info anyhow.

I scored a Timeshare exchange at The Manhattan Club (W 57th & 6th). Very hard trade to snag, so I am syked!!! We got great seats to see Mary Poppins on Wednesday, I think. And we will been going to Angelo's for dinner a couple of times. One of the waiters, Jimmy, sees us coming down the street and clears a table for us. We only go there a couple times a year (for the last 15 years) and we just love that he has watched our daughter grow from an infant to pre-teen :goodvibes . Ilove that place. I feel like I am walking on a set of The Sopranos :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Also, we always have brunch at Norma's. Other than that, we are flying by seat of our pants. I am very excited - this is the first time I am spending a whole week there.

ETA: thanks for the offer to answer questions. Perhaps we could meet up for a drink or coffe or something

We are still GTY, but not for a lack of trying. I call a supervisor every day and am basically told I will look into it and get back to you, then am totally ignored :rolleyes1 . You think they are trying to tell me something....like, go away, lady

Great location! Sounds like a terrific week -- hopefully the weather will be better by then (although if you are from MA, ours is likely to be warmer than yours whatever the temp!). I took my girls to see Mary Poppins when it first came out -- the sets are amazing, it's a lot of fun -- a little darker than the movie, though. Not that I can judge on that front -- this afternoon I am taking my 14 year old to see Spring Awakening and that subject matter is pretty grim! (the music is great, though) Have fun -- it sounds as though you have enough planned to give your trip some structure, yet enough free time to roam and enjoy yourselves.

By the way, I forgot to say to let me know if you will be on the upper east side . . . we are a few blocks from the Guggenheim . . . or we could meet for coffee in midtown easily . . .

No problem -- PM me closer to time if you want to get together . . . I live on the upper east side but can easily meet you in midtown if that's better . . .

Well, I love to DIS with you guys all day but gotta get my butt in gear.

I am on a happy hunt for lollipop sticks. My Valentines Day project for my day care tomorrow is heart-shaped Rice Cripies Treat lollipops that they can decorate. Well, duh, I waited to long to get the sticks and now have to hunt them down...UGH

I suppose it is too much to ask to not post over 3,000 while I'm gone...

thought so :goodvibes .

Have a great day everyone!!!
