I still need to start on our 2004 cruise, our 6/05 WDW trip, 12/05 cruise, & 12/06 cruise...oh and our trip to DC last year!

I got most of the 2005 trip done on a scrapbook weekend recently...but I still have more to do.

DD has been begging to do the scrapbook, so today might just be the day. We bought some Mickey stickers at Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago and I know that's the part she wants to do. We don't do the really crafty scrapbook stuff -- I figure my on-line scrapbook is enough.

Tomorrow is the Big PineWood Derby for all of SI. Ryan won 1st Place for Tigers in our Pack. Devin won 1st place for the pack...so both will be competing in the islandwide derby tomorrow. Wish us Luck.

Best to you!! Would love to know any secrets you have . . . our pinewood derby isn't until Feb 24th. Our boys can't wait. We typically win something each year at the sectional race . . . it's such a blast!

Too bad I can't ever use that to get a big one. I swear if I got a big one I wouldn't even try for another one. I want everyone to be a pirate!

But you see... I have to take what I can get. And if it means I have to get enough minis that the captain officially says I'm a pirate- well then so be it. So far today I got 4 and I know I had atleast 2 prior today... probably more than that but I can't say for sure because I can't do a search to count them! So I'm counting myself atleast 6 so far... working on 10. I wonder why I can get minis but not the big ones? Probably because there are SO many people posting at once to get the 000's?

I'm glad to see discussion of Cartegena. I can't image DCL going somewhere unsafe, but Columbia makes me uncomfortable. I was kinda hoping we'd stop in Belize, but that's not exactly a safe place either. I guess the key is that these countries really need our tourism dollars so they will work with someone like DCL to make sure that we have a good experience there.

I vote for the DCL excursions on that one. DH may not even want to get off the ship. I know I will for at least a little bit so I can have a break from the rocking.

Well, off to do things. Still gotta scrapbook our January cruise. I only have 10 pages done!

SWMBO has already declared we are getting off the ship in Colombia. She figures there will be few chances for the kids to say they've been in South America. (I've already been, so it isn't as big a deal for me.) We'll probably take a tour of the city through DCL. Maybe we should all wear our pirate garb and they'll leave us alone? Who wants to rob a bunch of mangy looking Americans?

Well since I seem to be the only one not watching the POC today, I'm going to take my shower and check my homeschooling work for the week . . .oh and we have baseball tryouts today . . .spring is coming!

AAA Triptiks have sent us on non-existant roads...twice.

We have had the best luck with Yahoo maps. I think the public feedback makes them more accurate.

Stay away from Google Maps, at least in Australia, unless you want to go 1.4km just to cross the street.

Well, I made one teenage girl very happy in this house this morning. I went online when she wasn't watching and got her and my niece tickets to see Gwen Stefani in concert on May 27th at the Borgata in Atlantic City.

I sent Angelina an e-mail with a copy of the ticket purchase, I posted a pic below of her reaction while she was reading the message.
