That's what I love about DCL. My DS10 asked our server what "Baked Alaska" was and he explained it. My son ordered something else, and the server brought out the Baked Alaska as well as what he ordered.

One night I couldn't decide between two different deserts, so my server brought me out three different deserts because I was taking so long trying to decide what I wanted!!! No wonder I gained 7 pounds during that cruise. :rotfl2:

And BTW, I take back what I said yesterday........I making a run for 16,000 :cool2: So watch out scabbies! :lmao:

Good evening Mary Rose.

I've been holding out here at work waiting for the "run". I'm going to miss it. If I would have left at 5:00 (it's now 6:15 here), I would be home and ready to go for it. But, since I live 45 minutes from work (and that's in dead traffic) I will definitely miss the 16K. You guys will have the next 100 posts gone probably in 20 minutes after 15,900 falls.

Andy that sounds like great fun! A triple dip, and in only 6 days no less!

Hazel ought to be so surprised!

MR
Man, that does sound great! I wish we could do it but it would take the kids out of school far too much. (and we don't have anyone that could take the kids and let us go the 2nd cruise by ourselves. I wish! LOL)

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO Everyone...

TGIF

So glad it's Friday!

My $500 toilet/turlet is leaking and need to be replaced

Tomorrow we go on a college tour with DD to Rutgers :scared1: I don't want my baby to leave home :sad1:

Hope everyone had a nice day

And BTW, I take back what I said yesterday........I making a run for 16,000 :cool2: So watch out scabbies! :lmao:

MR

Wait....didn't you just have to replace the toilet?? Or is this still the same one that needs replacing???

I was wondering if anyone can help this geography impaired person - :upsidedow - is there a time difference between Paris and France? On our return trip just noticed that the flight time is from Paris to Londone/Heathrow (sp?) is only 20 minutes - is this right? Just wondering - thanks

I'm not European -- but all of France is on the same time zone and France and England are one hour different.

Hah!, I'll have 2 lobsters and a steak to boot.....:rotfl: .....wait do they even have steak on the menu that night??? I have no clue..all my other cruises have, but haven't done Disney yet.

Yes, they can get you a steak that night. :thumbsup2 I always order 2 lobster tails & a lava cake that night. No need for anything else. :goodvibes

Way early again.

Sorry about that one.

NOT THIS TIME. pirate:

That's 3 of the last 5.

Jeff is hogging all the minis! LOL

Congrats... I was a wee bit too late.

OH NO! What happened to the potty? You didn't see any bricks near it, did you?

Seriously, I hope that whatever is wrong with the potty can be fixed pronto!

The plumber's is coming for the seventh time now. If he doesn't get it done this time, I'll be so mad I'll be adding my own brick in there :lmao: Seriously, this has been going on since Thanksgiving. You don't know how much you miss a flush, until you can't :rotfl: Thanks for the shoulder Enna! You're a peach!

MR

Sure you can order multiples of things but it's such a waste of food if say for instance your child only wants ONE item off a child plate- they bring out the entire plate with everything on it. Even if you insist that your child does not want/will not eat/etc. whatever else is on the plate- they still bring it all out. So if they want one thing off one child's plate on the menu and one thing off the other- they'll bring out both plates of various foods and then you get the joy of them eating off seperate plates or putting them on one single plate yourself. I don't understand why they can't be more flexible on that.

That's really weird. My kids always ordered multiple items and they reduced the portions and put them all on one plate for them. Well, maybe not when they ordered off the kids menu and the adults menu, but my kids' favorite order was pizza and the macaroni and cheese. (And Mickey Mouse Ketchup :rotfl2: )

We were told on last week's cruise that we could order anything from that evening's menu to be delivered via room service. That meant Lobster in the staterooms.... We didn't do it, but we could have.

That is only for cats 1-3 or if you are quarentined to your room due to illness.

Coldwater Creek has some incredible deals right now on clearance. They were the larger sizes so I was disappointed but someone would be able to get some nice formal looking stuff inexpensively. ;)

Thanks for the scoop on that, Lisa!
