Hi Everyone - Laura here - Disney Cruise junkie here - just wanted to put my two sense in. DH and I will be sailing on this cruise! YIPPEE! I'm so excited that I can't even sleep or settle down. I'm getting on my son's nerves and were still 18 months out!

Anyway, we were lucky enough to do the 1st ones out and had so much fun that we're planning it all over again! Westbound and Eastbound! Yippee! (Not to mention the family cruise in July!) Although, when I made my deposit today - DCL told my TA that they were going to have to stop taking ressies for the Eastbound. Shocked but I didn't care as I was already booked. LOL. Anybody I know sailing? Or anyone recognize me? I tend to be shy - but give a shout out - I'm on my way to start at the beginning (wow over 600 pages already!!!)

Oh well - so excited I'm having trouble sleeping already -

I must've missed this New England tradition....thank goodness! I grew using Hersheys CHOCOLATE syrup in my milk. Now that's good. I lived in Florida for a brief time & I was introduced to Yahoo? I think that's what it's called. blech!

Diane--it's also good squirting the syrup directly in your mouth, or pour it on a spoon if your SO is in the room, LOL!!!

As you all know, I'm having trouble keeping up with all the posts, but to all of you in Florida or with relatives in Florida my prayers are with you. It's terrible what happened there today.

Andy, I know you don't remember, but you sent pay it forward post cards to our boys last July for our August cruise. Issac was celebrating his 5th birthday on board. "His Pal Mickey" sent him a card saying how great it was going to be to see him. We spent a few days in the parks before the cruise and he was very keyed on Mickey. "There's my pal Mickey!" "There's Mickey, he's my pal!" We had the character breakfast right off when the Magic sailed. He insisted on staying until Micky came by - we were off in a corner and were at the very, very end. They're clearing the tables by us - and we're waiting. Mickey finally makes it. Issac stands on a chair. Gives him a big hug. And says "Thank you for sending me my card. I'm glad we're here together too." Hopped off the chair and left.

Do not under estimate the impact your postcards can have. Many, many, thanks.

Thanks for sharing, I always get a kick out of hearing what happens after the postcards are received. I've even had a few pics sent to me with the kids holding their postcards, the looks, on their faces, are priceless!!!

Never did get to say good night last night, I fell asleep watching CNN, after talking to one of my brothers on the phone. I couldn't get a hold of him yesterday(left messages), when he got in last night he saw the news about the tornadoes in Florida. He couldn't get a hold of my mom because the phone lines were out, so he called me to fine out what was going on.

Oh yea, we WILL hit the 10,000th post today, I'm sure of that once everyone starts getting up and and the posting madness begins. Hold on to your bandanas mateys, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!!

Hi There Andrew, we have a gty cat 9 for this sailing!!!

Thats good last repo I firstly booked a CAT 8 as I wasnt sure of the prices in advance, then when they came out I asked Kelsie at DU if I could get a CAT 4

She worked hard and I was offered a CAT 4 GTY, The Cat 8 had a specific number. In the end I was assigned a room just after final payment day and it was a very good one, I liked the posItion so much I had it again for 2006 double dip and the one next door for the Med.

At Cat 9 GTY you have a good chance of an upgrade and I hope you get one.

I would say that the best views on the PC are up front of the ship coming into the locks, many people were up there early last time. Whilst having a CAT 4, I went up on deck often to see the other side and the front.

My mom took a ride around her area with my aunt and uncle yesterday afternoon, let's just say when I spoke to my mom yesterday afternoon, she couldn't hold back the tears, all I heard her say was, "Complete devistation" she was indeed very lucky that nothing happened to her place. In Paisley, the next town over from her, at last count, 13 dead. I haven't had the news on yet this morning, so I don't know if the count is any higher.

Kind of makes me re-think about moving to Florida after retirement, Hazel is really shaken up about this.
