8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 3

Honestly, my gut tells me, the one who pays off the cruise in full first gets first dibs

And that's not the answer I was hoping for.
We're talking over 11k... it's going to take me a bit to pay that off. I don't want to put it on credit cards or get loans or something!

I threw these in photobucket, but forgot to post here. Here is the parrot costume we made for DS when he was 14 months. It was great, DH & I were pirates & he trick-or-treated on our shoulders. Won't fit now - he'll be 10 on the cruise! I'm pretty sure we have most of the parts if anyone wants to turn their toddler into a parrot I can bring it along.

HEE HEE - just realized a 14 month old baby at cruise time hasn't even been born yet! It's Monday - I'm a little slow.

You made this??? I am quite envious since sewing a button is quite a challenge for this girl.

I'm done with my taxes and the kids are back from GS (yes, I actually ran them both off to Girl Scouts and picked them back up again, did you miss me when I was gone then back then gone again? Well now I'm back. Deal. LOL)

Taxes didn't take me long because I already had it all done, I was just waiting on the w-2 to make sure I had my figures correct off his last check for the year and I don't like to send it off electronically until the W-2 is in my hot little hand. But I'm done! Now let's see how long it takes for it to be directly deposited into the TOAL account.

Now that the race for the 12,000 is over, I'd like to share a PM I received earlier today. It came from a mother requesting a DCL postcard. I normally don't post these, but this touched me and I wanted to share it.

Hi!

We aren't traveling on our cruise until June 3. But my daughter needs a pick me up from Mickey Mouse. I just had back surgery and she hasn't seen me in almost 2 weeks. A postcard from Mickey will cheer her up. She asks me everyday on the phone "r we going on da Mickey boat tomawo?" She is 4. I would be forever grateful. It would cheer me up to. Thank you so much.

Needless to say, sent this little girl a postcard this afternoon, and the mom is getting one as well!!!

I got all teary reading that. Tink herself would be proud of the work you do!
